All jokes aside Jeff, in the last year (I’m 23 now) I’ve been diagnosed with a neurological illness which led to me getting optic nerve surgery to save the little amount of vision that I do have in my left eye. I have permanent vision loss and little peripheral vision. It’s okay to be sad about things. It’s your vision and it’s traumatic. I don’t know you but I’m glad you’re here and I think your doing amazing. Your videos have really helped me in the last year

I used to watch the vlogs all the time and after everything happened and all the exposing. I can’t help but feel guilty for ever liking those videos, you and Scott were always my favorites due to how respectful and kind you guys were. Hey Jeff, i know that trolls were saying awful things about your appearance after the accident. Not knowing what actually happened. & even after knowing...btw I'm not like a groupie crushing woman of u of the guys...but I want to tell u that u look exactly as handsome as u did b4. & I know u are dealing w/other issues from the injuries, but if it helps at all...u still got it, guy! U look great...how we see ourselves is really important too. & if we feel like we still look like we did before the accident, it helps the focus & drive to work hard to keep at the other things we want to work really hard on. & your character shows volumes too. That lawsuits & all that, will hinder your getting better. Your an amazing guy!

people might not realize if they haven’t been through something like this, as traumatic as it is to be hurt, it’s also traumatic to watch someone you care about be hurt. when he talks about it being fuzzy in his mind, that was because he was in fight or flight mode. the human brain switches into high gear when death is involved. every single one of those guys running through the water was bracing to pull up their buddy’s dead body. you don’t forget that feeling, even if it has a good ending like this case.

Yesterday June 26th was the 2nd year anniversary of my accident. Still working on myself everyday. Keep pushing
