Why Is Kodak Making Pharmaceuticals?

3 роки томуLast month, the U.S. government announced a letter of interest to provide Kodak with a $765 million loan to launch Kodak Pharmaceuticals. Under this loan, Kodak would manufacture critical pharmaceutical components that have been identified by the FDA as essential but have lapsed into chronic national shortage. But the deal is now on hold as the SEC investigates the circumstances around Kodak's disclosure of the loan.

Kodak doesn’t look like a bankrupt company when you look at their executive chairman. This a prime example of bad people managing a good company.

People who are talking about the single-digit cost increase to manufacture here at home are missing the bigger picture. If you can't get these essential compounds to begin with, how will you produce the drug you are selling at an insane markup?

my doctor is now telling me to take 2 pictures every 4 hours as necessary and that if I forget to take my pictures, don't double up and just continue to take the regular dosage as soon as I remember. this is ALL VERY CONFUSING!!
