I can check back here if anyone wants it or if you know how to contact me somehow, please do so. Thanks

Dear Mark, I have had two sightings in my life - one on the East coast, when I was about 14, and the other on the West coast when I was 45. The first one was a juvenile Sasquatch. I was trail running, and I think it was just curious about me. I didn’t feel the least bit threatened. In fact, I was probably at least as curious about it as it was of me. I will tell you that I spent most of my time in the woods as a kid, and often had that feeling of ‘being watched.’ As a skinny, flat-chested girl, I think they knew I wasn’t a threat. My second sighting was in broad daylight. I had just left work, and decided to go for a hike, just North of where I worked on the California coast. As I came around a bend in the road, I saw an enormous figure to my right, coming out of the tree line. It’s shoulders were as wide as my little Ford Focus was. The field had wild grass and weeds growing - probably waist high on me - I’m only 5’4”. This guy instantly dropped down on his knees, and turned his shoulders away from me, trying to ‘make himself small.’ Not possible. I could still clearly see the top of him. I will say, though, that if I hadn’t seen him standing first, I probably wouldn’t have noticed a ‘big reddish brown pile’ that was staying still. (I know the man who has the Bigfoot Museum in Felton, CA., and he told me that people have driven right past them, thinking they are stacks of redwood logs piled. Then it registers ‘HEY! We didn’t stack any wood there…’ Only to go back and find that the log pile has gotten up and left! lol) All this to say, Mark, they ARE REALLY out there. I imagine that it is only a remnant population, but they are still out there. I always use this analogy with folks: There is an estimated population of 50,000 mountain lions left in North American - mostly west of the Rockies. Most people - even seasoned outdoors people - go their entire life without seeing a mountain lion. They don’t want to interact with us humans, and avoid us whenever possible. Now, imagine a species that has high intelligence in the ‘natural skills,’ that really doesn’t want anything to do with us, except to keep us away from them, as necessary. And, there are only - I don’t know - let’s make a guess… 1,500 of them left. Given that the average American never leaves their living room, let alone go into the remote wilderness, most folks are never going to even have a chance to see one. You get my point. The vast majority of sightings are from road crossings while people are driving their cars. I’m inclined to think that Sasquatch wasn’t really intending to be seen, but I could be wrong on this. (The Native Americans all have stories about these beings, but we have a tendency to only believe what a guy with a ‘PhD’ after his name tells us.) I spend a lot of time in the forests of Northern California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. When I look out over those incredibly vast forests, I just chuckle to myself and marvel at the audacity of the humans who are certain that they ‘know every creature that is out there.’ I think you know that only primates can throw rocks, right? And, unless you’re being followed by an angry Highland Games champion, there aren’t really any humans who can throw a bowling ball 75 yards, but, I digress…. WE know what you saw, Mark. Trust yourself. One great thing about Nance’s SasSquad is that we are very supportive, positive people. You are amongst friends here. Thank you for sharing your stories.

Definitely hope this gets recorded by the moderators and narrated later on by Nance. 🤷‍♂️ I am glad she takes time off though. We don't need to get all this content like we think: I want to fill my life with adventure and let nature give me content! And I wish to be a better storyteller. Yes,if I felt spooked,or threatened I would shoot. Throwing large rocks in the dark at me,would get "recon by fire".If you don't know the meaning, ask a vet. I also carry deerslugs, and I don't see a hostile Bigfoot shrugging off a hit from a heavy load of a 12 ga slug......

Would I shoot a Bigfoot? If I were a professional hunter, I most certainly would. I wish there were actual proficient and experienced hunters/trackers specifically looking to take down one of those animals. A carcass needs to be taken to an event that already has multiple media people present, otherwise they will never bother to show up to document it. Only a body will settle the question of the existence of the animal once and for all, and perhaps the sacrifice will begin serious scientific studies on how to coexist with the species.

The way I know these creatures exist is because they have been around for as long as humanity. My Grandma was born in 1920 and said they were a lot more common and I truly believe that most of the early stories were in fact true. Nowadays they are most likely more rare and only a small remnant still exists.

I stopped and had random moments of fever and after a few days it was like I didn't need them anymore 🤷‍♂️ I think trying new ways of quitting and keep trying and keep trying and being stubborn about it will eventually help you discover your own personal way of distracting you and occupying your time. Until you find that one specific way you needed personally for you to quit. Mine was just wondering what the fever was all about. I honestly didn't realize it was in conjunction with cold turkey. Maybe you could try fasting first? It helps your body realize it doesn't need things. Don't eat for a day. One day out of the week for a few weeks. I was into fasting and working out when when I wasn't fasting when I quit and I think it simply helped me mentally prepare for it. Keep trying different things and be persistent and you'll get there 🙏🔥🙏

Some people may not know that Rock throwing can Kill you rather easily ! so if something is throwing rocks at you fire a warning shot... and if another rock flies at you shoot the area where it came from because your life IS in danger ! if it's stupid enough to continue then it is stupid enough to die ! tossing pebbles at you is indeed playing with you but fist size rocks can kill....I remember being struck in the head by a fairly large rock tossed by my sister, it is not a laughing matter ! i was knocked to the ground and dazed for a few minutes she came running over apologizing for almost sending me to the hospital.... my mom put a butterfly or 2 on the cut that rock had left.... so I have no doubt thrown rocks can kill ! why do you think they have Plexiglas barriers around the apes at the zoo ? because they love to throw stuff ! a big foot is quite capable of firing a cannonball at you.... and they have incredible aim ... no I wouldn't want to shoot a bigfoot either but i certainly would if he was throwing rocks at me .... as it is no joke.... remember the stoning's of the bible ! you could be dead by the 3rd rock ! it's not funny at all.

“Is rock throwing threatening? Are we in danger, if it throws rocks at us like last time?” Duh, yeah, if his first story is to be believed. I am seriously beginning to question this man’s IQ and/or sanity. I really can’t believe he would go back and camp again at a spot where bowling ball sized rocks had been thrown at him. And I find it even more unbelievable that he would bring along his sons into such a situation. That is just plain crazy. Either that or the whole story was crafted just to get a rise out of us.

Mark, thanks for sharing your experience. Yes, Bigfoot are REAL.. I know. I live 11 mi from Fouke, Ar. where the movie the Legend of Boggy Creek was filmed. I have seen a BF. The tree branch it was standing in front of was measured later and that branch was 10’ 3” from the ground and the BF head was even with the branch. It was massive! They will throw rocks when you’ve entered their “ territory” and are possibly getting to close to small ones. I believe it’s a warning. Not necessarily intended to harm but to warn. I have my own personal beliefs about what they are. They can be very illusive when they chose to. They also have the ability to shape shift. Always always watch ABOVE you when out in the woods...

Only a body will settle the question of the existence of the animal once and for all, and perhaps the sacrifice will begin serious scientific studies on how to coexist with the species.

Hi I had to camp on my property in Missouri for three weeks waiting for my driveway and storage building to be done but flat tires and the person in charge went out of town to Florida so what was I thought going to be one week.... Any way I made camp and just before dark a owl hooting at the back of the property where I set up camp , each evening the owl would hoot sounded as if it was fussing at me...till after the end of the hoot changed to a low growl still never saw anything... It crossed my mind that it doesn't seem like a normal owl...and I thought it may be a bigfoot so I had my shotgun and thought of shoot to just scare it off but thought it may make it really mad if it was a bigfoot so thought to sing instead so I did... It stopped the owl hoot/growl so I kept singing ....the next evening the hoots for the first time was further away and a few days later at 3:45 AM still dark was a single wood knock that sounded like a home run clear and chrisp ! I sat up and listened for more but it was just that one .....and still never saw anything but wonder if that was a bigfoot encounter

I would if my life is in danger or someone else is in danger but if he is just scaring me I'll just go home and wash my shorts and pants. I'm sure Bigfoot would not hurt me on purpose. Thank you

If I was a Bigfoot I would be pissed off too if someone was on my land which has been Bigfoot land for hundreds of thousands of years taking and ruining everything that the creator has given me pretty soon Bigfoot will say enough is enough he is at the end of his rope so for all you Bigfoot hunters out there be careful where you tread time is on his side and so is the creator

I don't regret one minute. When you're being stalked, or haunted. 40 yards out, then past 60 yards out oh, and you know it's looking for you. And then about 30 yards looking right at you. Bang bang rolled out of my 4570 like second nature my hands are literally trembling leaving this comment trauma still there. I chose life instead of death do I regret it nope. Ohio

People are evil sometimes. No right to shoot at something you dont even know what it is. Stay out of the wilderness people with your disrespect.

First they'd be no choice, I'd rather not bother them. I can't make it to the convention this weekend but I think that my giant little brother might be there and his mini giants don't be afraid okay he's a nice giant unless you make him mad, it does go quiet.

1st place, A.) Bigfoot should wash up in a river . 2nd place, B.) Bigfoot should respect people's personal property and peace of mind. 3rd place, C.) Bigfoot should put some pants on and stop acting like he owns the place. 4th place, D.) Oh, look everyone, I'm bigfoot, look at me, I can grunt, throw rocks, scare people and trash their place. Who does this !!!!? 5th place, E.) After about 2 months of this, I finally met bigfoot face to face on my land, I told him he's being a bully and he needs to learn how to love and get along. Of course he grunted repeatedly trying to create a scene. I was obviously upset and regretfully mocked him and repeatedly raised him a loud " blabidy bla !!! " After about seven minutes of this he stormed away. I knew he was going to come back, because he always does, and when he did I would be ready for him . I created an outdoor motion sensor shower with soap, a large pair of shorts with pockets and suspenders, a chicken dinner with utensils, and a picture diagram explaining everything. 6th place, F.) Now when he disregarded my efforts and continued to act a fool, than and only than, did I do what I thought needed to be done. I posted a picture of him with a red circle and line crossing him out, clearly explaining to him that he was not welcomed. He's never come back and everything's back to normal. So yeah,..... I'm saying you got a chance. No one needs to put up with his/hers/its tomfoolery. I sincerely hope my experience and success in dealing with this dilemma will help some of you. Good luck and of course,.... you're welcome.
