@@frederikziebell I can't comment on the ease or not of it's development and implementation, but the platform is a decade old. It's pretty absurd it doesn't exist yet.

From what I understand you can see the course elevation, and the upcoming elevation in your map on the top left. It took me a while to find it, but there's two lines in the map that show you close elevation and wider range elevation, similar to a overall race profile for a course

Agreed. As an experienced Zwifter I don't need help knowing where my avatar is. Where this feature holds promise is in being able to highlight team mates or friends in races and events. Or to highlight sweep assistants or special attendees on group rides.

Well in general, never relax when going uphill (when on undulating terrain), because the bot always speeds up really quick once over the top and enters a downhill. Make sure you are as close to the bot as possible on the uphill section. In fact, I notice sometimes I loose the multiplier when I am ahead of the bot while going uphill, then zoom ahead way too much downhill. This update will probably reduce the possibility of this happening again, but I am not taking chances.

@@huaiwei Yeah, I know. It's just odd because you have to go relatively hard compared to the rides intensity in the flat, makes it a bit unbalanced. Even with 2,0 W/kg pacers, you really need to dig in more towards a real effort, not a problem for me but I mostly join those for easy/recovery rolling. If there's too much of a gap on the top, no way to get back because everybody rolls as fast as possible, which automatically stretches the field, no way to get back.

I've just had a look through three datasets from my CORE ONE testing, all looks normal for cadence. I'll take a guess that it's something related to being in the 14T and how it calculates cadence from the your power phase. Just out of interest, try doing a session in the big ring on the front (if your setup allows this) and see if the problem persists.

@@ex-larueminati5257 Try with the small ring then. I still suspect it's not able to pick the power phase from your pedalling (maybe you're just way too smooth through the whole 360 rotation!). :) Let me know how you get on with your next session.

Fwiw - a switch to the small ring (and a Zwift app update) appear to have eliminated the false rpm readings. Thanks again!

Problem solved...this feature is being rolled out separately from the deployment of ver. 1.59. So I'll wait.

Unlikely,imho. I am pretty sure that it’s a brilliantly-executed graphic representation that we interpret as 3D. Objects in it have no volume and occupy no space. Same reason you get wheels a little bit, or even more than a little bit, in the ground, and when you occasionally ride through a boulder or a bush, nothing happens.

Zwift doesn’t support the Apple Watch. They did a while back, then they said support was being removed. Whatever is working is just luck.

@@gplama , yep understood! I contacted Zwift and got confirmation that Its not supported right now but it will be back this year. I think its an apple problem and they may need to work together on it.

Unless I'm remembering this incorrectly - A ride like the AHDR has sweepers with red chevron icons, and the ride leader with a yellow one. They're both marked on the mini-map and within the companion app.

@@gplama you are correct, but there is only one red beacon for the 'lead' sweep. Unless this has changed in the last few months while I've not been on Zwift. During my most active Zwifting period (6 months to maybe 6 years ago) I've been red beacon, permanent sweep assistant and "Oh, The Shepherd is here today. He can help sweep!" on many, many hundreds of group rides. The problem that always cropped up was riders calling for assistance and then claiming they had no idea who the sweeps were or where they were. Newbies have no idea what's going on and even experienced riders can lose sight of the sweep assistants. Sweep assistants are not obvious in the rider list or the sweeper to sweepee chat disappears before they can orientate themselves. Makes the sweeps job much more difficult. Even when you find a rider they may not immediately recognise you as the person who's come to rescue them. So they don't put in the effort to catch until it's too late or they ride past you because they are totally focused on trying to catch the bunch and don't notice you or see your chat message. I and the many sweeps I've riden with have tried all sorts of tactics and tricks to do a better job of helping those who need it. I've raised several well considered feature requests to improve the experience for sweeper and sweepee. Including in the official ride leaders group. Absolute silence from Zwift. Something as simple as another beacon colour for all assistants as long as they are in the official sweep list for the ride. Or make them glow like the new rider outline feature. Or show something in the rider list and mini map to help sweeper and sweepee identify each other. Numerous other ways to do it. I've also suggested ditching the useless "I'm toast" and " Hammer time" buttons in the CA and replacing them with a "Please help" or similar automated call for assistance. And that's the other issue. Due to language differences or people unable to type during an effort or just newbies not having a clue, many people don't ask for help or communicate their status when they do because they can't. Then some of them complain afterwards that they were in trouble and the bunch left them behind. So many simple things that could improve the ride experience that have been brought to Zwift's attention by me and others. Continued silence from Zwift.
