You know when people die, and they say - see you on the other side, where you see your family members greeting you again etc ….maybe we transition into a real state of life by exiting this one. I guess we’ll see someday.

After studying the poem by William Wordsworth, "Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood", I've long since concluded that just as the poem suggests we enter this life trailing clouds of glory with intimations of the glorious realm from which we began this current journey but lose consciousness of that realm as we take on the yoke of this lifetime -- So shall we one day return to our realm of origin with only intimations of this lifetime, i.e. limited consciousness of this lifetime that will serve to cautiously guide us through ensuing lifetimes, i.e. INTUITION.. Each future emergence into a new lifetime will elevate us by virtue of the good gained from all previous lifetimes. 'Til turning and turning we turn out right, like the Shaker Religion's song says. And so each lifetime is a further distillation of our soul to rid it of all impurities -- the only way we can become one with God. Only intimations of the previous lifetime(s) so as not to confuse intuition gained. That glorious realm is where the distillation/filtering process takes place.

The problem with these discussions is that history of the subject matter goes only as far as the Greek civilization, a western conceit. If they would study ancient writings of India, they would find very refined understanding of consciousness and what actually dies

Two things that cannot be destroyed: energy and information. Our human energy field exist in several faster-oscillating dimensions. We manifest physical bodies in accord with the desires of the collective, with the purpose of experience and gaining a profound respect for the all that is.

I’m the biggest overthinker and this is also my conclusion. Death is not real. Consciousness is immortal. This suggests that we are one. Even the very last one that lives through the end of time. We all get to experience it

You had a list of doom and gloom. Let's look at some of the points to see if we can share a much more positive view. Firstly, we've passed the marker of 2012, which it was predicted we would have wiped ourselves out by then. So no nuclear war.. Yes we are polluting our planet but the weather indicates that we are on the threshold of a mini ice age and not global warming. The ice age is most necessary to rejuvenate the oceans. Also another very positive piece of news, humanity is in the early stages of a great conscious awakening. All's good, though it doesn't appear so. 💥

The question "why anything exists" is actually much deeper than it is regarded by most. It's not about the universe (spacetime) or the big bang, but rather about the possibility of existence itself or the "preexistence" of anything. So the correct version of the question is "why anything CAN exist at all" and "where does this possibility come from".

Here are some things Jesus Christ said of Himself. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." John 3:18 Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. Matthew 16:13-17 Skeptics said for centuries, said "The bible we have now has been corrupted through the centuries.". In 1947 the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and proved otherwise. They said, "There's no way Israel can become a nation again as God promised in preparation for the end times.". Israel became a nation again in 1948. All this being said, it does require faith to believe. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Also John 20:27-29 states, "Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Don't be deceived, Jesus is the Son of God and the only way of being saved from God's judgement for our sin. Christ consciousness won't save you. Believing Jesus was an ascended master, a prophet or a good teacher won't save you. Romans 10:9 tells us how to be saved, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". Trust in Him, He shed his blood and gave His perfect life for you. Call on Him, He loves you, and He hears you.

There are so many things wrong in this video... It's claims after claims without any evidence. First: what is consciousness? What is awareness? When does a thinking animal become conscious? And we can't just claim that consciousness continues to exist without a working brain: there is no evidence for it. And when we go to sleep, the brain continues to work, just in a different way, and we wake up NOT the same person. Really not convincing...

I don't think the universe is special nor are we. Nothing is "fine tuned" for life. I think that if life is at all possible it will emerge.... when earth went through the oxidation event life almost went completely extinct. The earth wasn't fined turned life emerged with what it could when it could. When animals started to leave the oceans and they went to land, 100k years later, they probably also thought since because they're alive and the fawna they currently eat is so fine tuned to what they need to survive... guess that world was built for them. No absolutely not. They evolved to eat it and use the nutreance from it. We exist because the opportunity came along. The universe and all things in it just cooled enough to allow it to happen. If the universe were built in any other way it'd be ignorant to truely state life couldn't be possible in it at some point somewhere in it. The universe is NOT fine tuned. We're here because it's at a point where we can be here and that's an inevitability because of the absurd amount of time it has to happen. We have a bias that, because we're alive, it means something..... it really doesnt...

I understand this theory. However, that woul have to say thatNDE are nothing more then a dying brain. In which I could understand. However, I can’t understand the numerous amounts of Children along with intensive research done in regards to a more traditional reincarnation. Especially, when there are birth marks/ malformations at times that are aligned with the method of death in a past life. Something is missing for me in this. This, theory sounds more plausible however. The more I research the more confused I become.

This is the shit I think about on a constant… I feel like the people around me wouldn’t be in the same galaxy as me if I attempted to talk about this with them. And I’ve thought about these things since I was younger than I can remember… I’d be thinking about “I wonder who made that thing hanging above my head?” “I wonder how it got there?” “I wonder why I’m here, and my friend is at his house; and why I was meant to end up in this family and him in his? And why not the other way around? And why aren’t we given the opportunity to choose our family, if we aren’t given the choice of whether or not we even want to exist.”

If we could all just acknowledge that we don’t know what god is, the Bible was written by medieval shroom popping human beings and isn’t true AT ALL, and that if anything can be labeled “God,” It would most likely be the energetic force that gives life to all organisms and matter. And it isn’t a being that speaks in English and cares about whether or not you’re gay or if you eat Pork or pray on a rug. It’s so much deeper than humanistic nature and behavior. God is an unspeakable, indescribable, mysterious force that is impossible to understand with something as limited as a human brain. That’s how I know for a fact that the Bible and religion is completely and utterly humans way of worshipping that “force” in a very embellished and controlling way.

I drownd at 17. I was a completely flat line. I have 2 analogies for what I experienced on the other side. 1) Imagine yourself as a drop of rain falling through the sky and then hitting the Ocean. Every molecule that was in the drop of rain still exists; only the boundaries have changed. That is one view of how I felt. I was still me however I was no longer bound by a meat suit anymore. I had become part of an essence that was so vast I could not feel its boundaries and I felt more love than I had ever felt while in my meat suit. The second analogy is I also felt like a ray of light shining on the physical universe but emanating from the Ocean I experienced in the first analogy. I believe that while we are dead we are both, individuals and part of the whole of "all that is", "the source" "God" or whatever name you want to give it. We don't die. We don't even lose the essence of who we are. When I was on the other side I felt like I had become my best self. I was infinitely intelligent and so full of love I was glowing or shining with it.

I still struggle to decide which Scenario is more comforting.. The one you stated that life continues on and you will continue a new life after yours, will make all the memories you experience and all choices you did irrelevant because it continues either way no matter what you do or what you did, so if one individual would have such a knowledge he would live his life thinking I don’t care it will restart no matter what I do and potentially doing bad things… The second one with eternal oblivion seemed for me more comforting. Your life and all your choices end with your death and the person you were, making your experience more unique and meaningful for yourself. What makes me sad in that scenario is that there are people that won’t have or haven’t had the possibility to live long enough to experience satisfaction in live, I still think about those who ended their life in depression, illness or by the cause of another individual, will they forever float in oblivion and never have the possibility to see the beauty life can offer to us? In the end it would make sense because we can’t rely on the existence of a conscious universe defining fairness but still would it make me sad..

Problems with metaphysics : introducing more mystery to explain mystery and there are no testable experiments. As long as this is the case there will be disagreement. Problem with physics: Physics describe nature as seen through an observer. We do not know whether the observer sees reality. Logic can only bring us so far......

A collection of electronic components (circuitry) will NEVER experience anything in the same way a human does. It will never become self-aware. Sentience will never emerge out of complexity of connections. Millions of resistors, capacitors, transistors etc. will never have feelings no matter what threshold of numbers (and thus potential connections) it exceeds. It’ll be just as conscious as the rocks & minerals it is composed of. It can exhibit signs of intelligence of course but it will not know & understand WHAT it is doing or why it “wants” to do whatever action it chooses to do. It will behave in hard to predict “clever” ways maybe but it won’t choose a path based on some emotion it experiences because it can not experience.
