If you do live near the gulf coast, or even any coast really and you evacuate during a hurricane scare, you can take that salt life sticker off also.

I dont know if it's been mentioned, but wear flip-flops or sandles! If you don't, you will need the cooled aloe-vera on the blisters on the bottom of your feet.

Also, don't drive your car onto the beach unless it is a permitted area, you have a permit, and you have 4WD. Just saying. Just cause you see other cars out there don't mean your sedan is gonna make it, or should even be there in the first place 😅 Seen a lot of stuck cars, and most of them weren't permitted.

There's nothing that makes me go into a rage faster than a freaking speaker at the beach. Doesn't matter what kind of music it's playing, I am there for the water.

I love the Gulf. My family would often spend Christmas in one of the more out of the way small beach towns in Texas or Louisiana. And yes, looking for restaurants with lots of local or Louisiana license plates is always a good call.

I know Maryland isn't really in the South, but every one of those applies to Ocean City, MD except the thing about coming down in October. That part, called the seasons, actually includes autumn and winter like the Yankee North. Also, you can call it the ocean here. It's in the name.

I'm glad I vacation at OBX. Because that IS the ocean.

I completely agree, Matt. I especially liked, and can confirm, your Louisiana license plate instruction. Also, people should understand, because it is a delta Louisiana -- other than Grand Isle -- has no beach. Those this side of the Mississippi River come on over to Texas' 367 miles of Gulf coastline. I'm in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Please do NOT dig deep holes. Over 2' is a death trap one young boy and his sister had a hole 4' deep. The sides caved in, the boy was dug out just in time. The 3 year old girl died. This was in Southern Florida on that Atlantic side. It's so sad. After digging holes, and before going home, fill any holes you dug. People are getting broken ankles and legs from tripping or falling while walking the beach at night.

Good advice for yankees, and anyone else who is not Gulf-wise!

I feel like people sleep on Orange Beach. I've been to beaches on both coasts, Mexico, and Hawaii, and Orange Beach is the most beautiful. Just don't go there in October.

As a Michigan resident with the largest freshwater coastline in the world - I'm in complete agreement with the Salt Life stickers.

I needed this. Honestly, good and reasonable price seafood hard to find, but i don't likd any place selling merch or shirts. It like shift from their institution as resturant to being a retail store selling cloths nobody likes or give as bad gifts to relatives they don't see, remember their names, and care that much about.

Yeah, we have dumbasses here with the Salt Life sticker on their Truck or SUV. Weird, I haven't seen one on a car yet. It's Ohio man, we have Lake Erie. , it's mainly salt free.
