Having purchased a 2015 DS3 from new and keeping up with every service and maintenance the think fell apart gearbox failure was the final straw sold it for scrap and not worth the cost of repair.... I will never touch citroen again

Worth saying that this is Volvo’s cheapest car (petrol or electric) by a long shot! Not even with recent inflation - the V40 hatchback started at £5k above this in 2015 money!

I have one, it has been a pleasure to own one, auto, l have had no problems, no gremlin's, but really it a Toyota Corolla and it is still being produced, 1980's. Fuel wise the most l have ever had is around 68.9 per gallon. Hybrid is saving money. However, l dont use the sat nav, but for some reason it does not work, l was told that when l brought it, my phone can do that job if needed, just connect . It has had a washing machine in the boot, timber, sand , bricks its a good work horse, weekly shopping. The bonus, heated seats and steering wheel great for the colder days, heated front and back windows. How l came to buy this car, l had been around dealers and they was all saying 9 months to get a car, all makes- lm not having that l thought, so dropped in to a dealer of where l have had x amount of cars before, what can l have as now? l can get you this estate in less than 10 days, fine , l'll take it,, 4 days later, the car as arrived, its being prepped, you can pick it up tomorrow morning, l have not regrated this spur of the moment action, to me, a car is a tool not something that is worshipped, it gets washed and vacuumed once a month, polished every three months .

I'm not a big fan of crossovers but I like this one inside and out , for me the rear door handles are a hit and I don't care if it doesn't have 12 cup holders everywhere but sadly probably won't see this car in the States .

Jeep avenger was the only good product comming from that factory, design wise i mean. This so called Junior is not an Alfa, it looks a renault in the front and a Peugeot in the back. Alfa Romeo is about clean sportif lines, this is not Italian Design, this is French Design. And so many say they like this Design? Oh God learn a bit about the design of the brand.

That grill is horrible, it looks like somewhere you’d store your hoover attachments.

Rear of Skoda looks like a french car

I've got a 2017 r sport and I have had it 4.5 years and its still great crabbing issues are a thing of the past kumo tyres sorted that out I've been looking to change my car I only keep them 3 years but I've had a look at the competition and I still love my jag ime going to have the timing chain done at 57000 fsh in the hope it lasts another 4.5 years I love it that much had mercs and bmws these in my opinion are better

You want controversial? I think the new Porsche Macan wins that one. But right off the bat: the new design. Very unique in its own way, but still has that familiar Alfa Romeo prescence. I love the LEDs front and back. LOVE that beautiful red with the 2 tone finish. Hate that exposed wiper at the back so that's a zonk. Extend the roof spoiler and tuck it underneath so it looks cleaner. And the interior is definitely space-aged! Impressive looking car as you would expect from Alfa Romeo, but currently the talk of the town is that new Porsche Macan EV, which I respectfully think is better than this car. Great review Tish. Thumbs up.

The front is a bit like Renault but still nice. Being built in Poland in these days actually makes the car more reliable right now.

No cup holders or door pockets is a bit silly. I also notice more and more ore manufacturers are not putting map pockets in the back of standard seats i guess to give the impression of more room

I do not like the grill. I think the grill looks better on the Hyprid model. However I have no problem with where the rear handles are. Alfa are the ones who first done this after all. I think if they were ordinary handles the car would look worse unless they were flush handles.

The Tonale was the last car fully designed and signed off by AR before the takeover and it shows and possibly the last new AR car to be built in Italy if Stellantis get their way. AR is now diluted among the various other brands in the Stellantis group and has lost all character..you might as well be looking at a Peugeot e2008.

Sorry not convinced by this Alfa. From the side it reminds me of a Corsa. The front reminds me of the new Citroen C3 with lots of make up and bling applied. The rear is reminiscent of the Kia EV6. The cable storage at the front seems pointless given it's small volume and the fact the cables are quite heavy and difficult to revert to the original form so it's likely to just be slung in the boot. It will be interesting to see how it drives. So far, I'm more convinced with the Renault 5. A very good review though.

I drive a Peugeot e208 and it’s pretty much got all the same good/bad points as the Junior - really cramped in the back but with a nice driver focused front and great styling (IMHO). The Junior is going on my shortlist for next company car, as the list price whilst high like all the Stellantis EV’s, isn’t that important to me. Will see if it has affordable leasing rates later this year, but I really like the styling.😊
