Man, please never stop making these videos as long as you enjoy making them. I learn something new every time I watch. Thanks for always posting this quality content, we all appreciate it big time.

Hot tip for checking spark at the plug… this is for secure ground connection instead of just resting plug on top of the head..get yourself 2 alligator clips and a short length of electrical wire, clips connected to each end of the wire… one clip around the threaded part of the plug, the other plug to a ground connection. At least this way you know for certain that the plug is grounded securely when kicking the motor over.

I give you a lot of credit. Those front plastics were a bear and you pinched your finger and didn’t even say a curse word. How the heck do you do that. It’s like you’re a super hero or something. LOL.

My neighbor had one when I was a little boy. It sounded just like this. The guy was crazy for speed. He would do wheelies up and down the alley. We would be on our Stingrays watching every move he made.

Saweet little bike. Super nice shape. I had a 79 CR250R Elsinore. That was a good ripper back in the day. Man that thing went like a bat out of hell. Loved that bike.

Thanks for making the video. I've been riding bikes for forty years and wrenching on them as well. What amazed me about this video is the deep dive into the carb. On top of the extra maintenance that these four stroke race bikes require over two stroke race bikes was the extra complexity of the carb. An EXTRA Jet for starting and a Hot Start Circuit, as well as the TPS must make them far more complex to keep running. At least you can flip up the rear subframe to get to the carb. Every Suzuki I've owned was a bastard to work on the carb... They must have very small hands in Hamamatsu...

@eugenesbackyardrepair45937 годин тому
I see you keep using spark plug tester but could be fouled out when fuel soaks plug. Not accurate ready without being under compression and fuel soaked. But I do like you can test for a faulty plug

Where do I search “FMF” for two-stroke “recommendation needle/jetting” for blaster?? I will plug chop for fine tuning but now air lid off w/K-N filter have needle in middle-35pilot-310main (it’s slow) but idols & runs air/fuel screw 1 turn out I live west of Chicago like 40min
@BigBubz20239 годин тому
When you take your carburetor bowl off, check your float to fuel needle free play. Turn the carb up side down, then tilt it so the float it just resting on the fuel needle valve. Then push it down with your finger to see how the travel is on the valve. It's a good way to tell if the float height is within parameters. I have a 94 bayou 400 that was doing a simular thing idling and missing badly at idle. Thought it was an electrical gremlin, but I started putting full cans of seafoam engine treatment to the gas and v power shell premium gas. It's coming out of it now! Seafood is amazing stuff! Also another product you should try is liqui moly sku: 1580 it is specifically formulated for wet clutch systems for motorcycles and atvs. It has a higher percentage of molybdenum desulfate, which basically on a molecular level fills the pits and imperfections on the surface of the steel. It will make anything run very smooth, quieter, better economy, and better shift proformance. Liquid moly m0s2 sku: 2009 is a game changer for any engine that doesn't use wet clutch. Been running g it for over 2 years in everything I own. I can't believe the difference in my equipment now!

@kirbygulbrandsen45079 годин тому
One thing I noticed is before you took the plug out, you should have blown out the hole. When they are in there stuff falls in but you already know this. She’s a runner.
@salembeeman3709 годин тому
Joe, what do you do with all of these bikes. I'm hoping you are selling them for a profit. You say how much you pay for them. Maybe in the future you could share what you got for them. If it's not to personal. Also, may have tax implications for you.
