That table saw looks like the portable DeWalt table saw my old boss owned. I remember turning it on for the first time, and being shocked by how loud that thing was. I actually immediately shut it down, because I was sure something must have been loose inside it. Nope, everything was as it should be. I've used many different jobsite table saws, and never heard one nearly as loud as that thing. I absolutely hated working with that saw, lol.

there is not really a good fence for contractor saws. what you can do since you built the saw into a bench is to built or buy a better fence that is a part of the table and not the saw. You do have to be sure the saw is locked in place or easily precision adjusted if you choose to take that path.

Get the Wen track saw too.

The solution to the Track saw problem is to make the mods to the Bauer saw to fix the plate, and give the saw and the track to your buddy. He's been excellent.

Wish I could have been on when Lee was talking about the SMU comeback. I was on my honeymoon and watched most of the game with my British bride. She was not thrilled and with about 5 minutes to go I thought “We’re not playing well and I am upsetting my wife.” and I turned it off. Called my parents and the first thing my mom says is “Wasn’t that a great game?” I said “Yeah, if you’re an SMU fan.” She said “You didn’t turn it off, did you? Had to wait till the winter semester to watch the grainy replay playing non-stop in the Wilkinson Center. I seldom turn off a BYU game after that experience.

About the fence adjustment, you can probably 3D print a second dial for precision, that gears into this dial's gear but has a higher ratio.

I come back to this video every now and then and i always wonder about the dust. Seeing sanders right next to the laser or having TV's and computer screens just makes me wonder how often you have to deep clean/dust? Temu all the way.No way these differences account for the insane price gaps.. Do not care about support or breakages Temu has an excellent return policy and the price point is so low we can afford a rebuy even is something is bad. The real scammers are all these companies charging hundreds of dollars for rulers and other useless stuff like they discovered cancer medicine. This is progress and compettiton improves quality and prices. This is actually an indirect promotion for Temu instead of a gripe video and excluding the raised temperature on that Mactec clone everything else shown was more than decent. Tool abusers or perfectionists need not use them. Sensible people will.

The tip thing is probably just due to them improperly setting up their website. Likely using Square and are set up on their typical checkout, which is automatically set up for hospitality (bars, restaurants, etc.)

I couldnt find a small bottle of citrus solvent but then managed to find this organic safe citrus cleaner so I used that instead thinking it would be just as good. After cooling down the melted mixture I noticed a watery substance in the pot. Turns out it was the citrus cleaner which had separated from the now solid wax and linseed oil! luckily it was easy to pour out. After more searching I found a small citrus solvent bottle so will remelt and add that.
