i haven’t done a workout in 2 years. i’ve been heavily depressed and would go weeks on end without even getting out of bed. the most active i would get was when i would manage to go to my on campus classes. i’ve made the commitment for this year to enjoy my youth and love my body. this workout is the beginning of a new journey i’m taking and i’m so happy you make beginners workouts.

you are the only channel i’ve found where i can actually keep up with the beginner style workouts, i’ve gone from not moving hardly ever, to working out for 15-20 minutes a day. it ain’t much, but it’s progress! update: thanks for the support everyone! unfortunately i had to stop because i’m so busy with college but i walk a TON and have noticed myself slowly gaining stamina just from moving around campus! good luck to everyone who is working on themselves! mwah

Omg! 16 surgeries, 4 babies, 1 divorce and a whole load of depression later, I've seriously put my feet down today and I'm completely sweating away now 😅 Obviously had to pause the video a few times, but I'm a super happy woman today that I've taken my first step towards freedom of my life 🥰🥰🥰

Honestly, I’ve been doing this for only five days yet I’m already seeing results!! The first day I tried, it absolutely KILLED my legs and I didn’t continue for the following days. I then decided to continue this workout even though it will tire me out. I started again and took a waayyyy slower pace than how you were going and every day i manage to speed up. I totally recommend doing this workout!

a little something my yoga teacher told me was no one seems to know how to breath properly, that we all breath through our chest, and that’s why most of us struggle. try breathing from your stomach instead of you chest, it’ll give you deep, fuller breaths:)

I am 3 years postpartum. I was 62kg before pregnancy and I started this work at 76kg. I do this workout every morning and because I can realistically finish it, it makes me keep coming back. I've not missed a workout in 2 months and I'm currently 71kg. This video has literally saved my mental and physical health.

For my own purposes 00:30 Warm-up - knee-taps(?), bum kicks, side reach, step jacks 02:40 Set 1 - squats, elbow to knee crunches 06:45 Set 2 - rise and floor touch, arm circles 10:55 Set 3 - glute bridges, crunches 15:05 Set 4 - up and overs, arms open-close 19:10 Warmer-up(?) - knee-taps(?), bum kicks with arm raises, side reach, step jacks

I'm planning to do this everyday for 2 months to see how it goes ! :) Starting weight - 54.5kg Goal weight - 50kg WEEK 1 : Day 1 - ✅ DONEE It was easy for me except for the glute bridges and crunches (hopefully I can improve on that 😭) MY NOTIFS R HORRIBLE DOING ATTEMPT 2 NOW WEEK 1 (ATTEMPT 2) Day 1 - ✅ DONE I am literally burning hot rn and I'm SO HAPPY I finished it 4 today 😭 (probably did a lot of the exercises wrong but i'm trying my best 💀✊) Day 2 - ❌ Day 3 - ❌ Day 4 - ❌ Day 5 - ❌ Day 6 - ❌ Day 7 - ❌ (Got my period ☹️) WEEK 2: Day 1 - (10/11/2023) ❌(???) did her 20 min HIIT workout instead, thought I could do this after, was too tired to 😔😔 Day 2 - (11/11/2023) ✅ DONE i'm so sweaty rn, NOW i'm gonna actually try to be consistent even if I have quizzes every week 😃 Day 3 - (12/11/2023) ❌ Im so sorry y'all, i had rlly bad muscle soreness or wtv 4 some reason and I was STRUGGLING 😭🖐 Day 4 - (13/11/2023) ❌I ARRIVED FROM SCHOOL SO LATE THEN I SLEPT BC I WAS TIRED THEN I HAD TO DO SO MUCHH, DOING THIS A FEW TIMES TMRW TO MAKE UP 4 IT Day 5 - (14/11/2023) ✅ Did it once bc it's literally abt to be 10 PM rn and I'm meant to wake up at 5 💀 Day 6 - (15/11/2023) ❌ english exam 😭 Day 7 - (16/11/2023) ❌ I DEF FAILED THAT ENGLISH EXAM BUT ANYWAYS I didn't do it bc I was tired after school and kept sleeping (it's 11 PM rn) I honestly think I could ACTUALLY be consistent if I fix my sleep schedule, so I'm gonna try getting at least 8 hours of sleep everyday and see if I can be consistent next week Current weight - 54kg Not that big of an improvement but it’s like RLLY good considering I wasn’t consistent nor did I do a diet, ALSOO the 2 bumps my stomach has became less obvious WEEK 3: Day 1 - (17/11/2023) ✅ Doneee Day 2 - (18/11/2023) ✅ WOOOO SECOND DAY IN A ROW 🦾 Day 3 - (19/11/2023) ❌ Guests came and then I had to finish all my school work 😭😭 Day 4 - (20/11/2023) ❌ Tired & unmotivated 😔✊ Day 5 - (21/11/2023) ✅ I DID ITT but I ate like an unnecessary 1000 calories bc of some CHIPS so I’m doing another workout now 😭💀 Day 6 - (22/11/2023) Day 7 - (23/11/2023) BTW!! Day 1: I’m an incredibly unfit uni student who hasn’t exercised in about a year. 10 minutes in an had a small break, realised how truly unfit I was and was going to give up but I scrolled through the comments and they were very motivating. Aw I’m in the same boat as a fellow uni student. My health and confidence totally took a back burner this past year. I’m happy to be getting back at it. I was a truck driver that gained a lot of weight. Got out of being fit. Used to be a skateboarder snowboarder. Longboarder downhill mountain cycler was huge into sports. This is not just a perfect exercise routine for beginnings but also when you are during your menstrual cycle where you don’t want to exercise too intensely this is also a much gentle option to suit that. Thanks for making these videos.

I begin this work out at the beginning of this week. Um, I didn’t realize how out of shape I was. But I did this 3 days in row, then took a two day break due my soreness. Started back up again today and do not regret a thing. Keep pushing everyone!

(EDIT)⚠️ : If you're a beginner, and really just starting out, I would recommend taking this advice when you're already quite used to working out, and ready to build a more consistent routine. You should take it slow and then gradually build up your resistance. ALSO, I am no professional by any means, just saying these from my experience, so take this with a grain of salt :) I would advice not to take any days break from soreness, because it could mess up your routine, if you constantly take a days break just because you're sore, harsh sorry, but I would recommend to at least reduce your soreness after, or before(future) workouts by searching reliable info on social media on how to. Examples: cold baths to reduce inflammation, foam rolling massage, sore pain relief exercises, etc. Or you could fight through the soreness if you want to and can, just so long as it's not joint pain, and not high intensity workouts So you could at least keep a constant routine, with better resistance and faster results. But don't take my words for it all though, since I'm no professional at these, I would advice to do your own research, with fact checking ofc. Just wanted to share this info with someone else in the same situation

I apologize if it may not have been specific enough for you, but I have mentioned in the examples, multiple ways to relax and rest your body if you are sore, and it also includes what not to do so as to not overwork and tire your muscles and body, just as you said. Which is? To not perform high intensity workouts and not to at all, if it is actually joint pain, because it risks leading to an injury. I have offered alternatives to the 'issue' you have with my first comment in this thread, so as to not encounter the already said problems with the solution that you, offered instead. I have also mentioned that I am no professional, thus if you are one, and found that as misinformation, I am terribly sorry. All it takes is to read someone's comment properly, before diving in into a pointless argument. Thank you for your time

I'm a climber coming off of 3 years of non-climbing related injuries and 2 surgeries. I knew I wasn't in shape but this made me realize just how out of shape I am! But I was able to do it! Thank you for making this attainable ❤ I needed a starting point now that I've been given the all clear, and this was exactly what I needed. @@kate9847hiii so ik this comment is a little old but if you really wanna lose weight you should try a calorie deficit you can type in your height weight and age and it’ll tell you how much more calories you should eat or should cut, and from that you can just make slight changes, you don’t have to eat extremely healthy but when eating less healthy stuff try eating it in smaller quantities and add healthier stuff to your diet ^-^

i’m a teenager who’s been working out for years, but last year i didn’t do my middle schools athletics program and lost all my progress. entering high school and being body conscious was not easy, though i am still what many would consider “thin”, i am feeling worse and worse about my body and now refuse to wear certain clothes that may highlight my stomach fat. it is my goal to go from 130-140 and back to 120, have my clothes feel looser, and feel better about myself again. i tried this workout for the first time today and reading the comments gave me a lot of hope. i will be doing this workout every other day and than going to the gym on the days i don’t do this workout. i am really hoping i can lose weight and get back to the state i was two years ago, and this time im fully committed! will update at the end of every week!

My 15 yearold sister has been feeling heaps better and becoming more fitter and I do these workouts with her, and she says to me, "Something I love about Maddie's workouts is how she has a variety of them and has ways to simplify them if they are too hard, and how you she brings heaps of positivity into it too." I am so thrilled, when I first started doing this routine - I was crying in pain, dripping in sweat and could not finish it (especially the arm circles, which are deceivingly difficult!). I have kept up with practicing it, even if the crunches remain hard - but now I am no longer gasping for air and can complete it rather easily! Thank you so much for making an easy to follow routine!

This is an excellent beginner workout. I broke a sweat and had to pause midway to catch a breath. No shame in resting, as long as you get back up and finish the job!

I am in terrible shape, cant even walk for long without my legs giving up. So i started this workout last week. Did one session half heartedly. Next day i did beginners yoga and the third day my body hurt so bad i took a week off. I repeated this workout for the first time again tonight and i feel like i held up much better. I almost did everything in the same pace as you and even though by the end i couldn't breathe properly i am pretty proud of my progress in the second session only. I will continue alternating between this workout and yoga everyday for a month and then update on my weight loss before my birthday in Jan. Wish me luck guys!

This is a reminder to not push yourself too hard, this is a difficult workout especially if you haven't worked out in months. It's important to not give up but make sure you know your limits because I didn't and ended up passing out. I recommend taking a 5-10 minute break halfway through. you are strong and remember your body is beautiful no matter what :)

Beginner here!!! I last worked out in 2020 ig during covid offc....and being a student i rarely move my body since all i do is sit and my desk all day It was my first day and my body hurts like helll So I'll update my progress after a month Current:66kg Goal: 50 kg Day 1: took 1 water break but was able to complete it all Day 2: my whole body was sore right after i woke up....i still completed the workout but took a 5 min break

Hello, i have just finished my first workout on the journey, i will update each day so that i am committed and have to push thru. I have trouble sometimes with continuing things - i do something one day but not the next. I am updating daily so that i cant give up. Day 1 ✅ - proud of myself Day 2 ✅ - was aching so much this morning from yesterday, but hopefully that will improve with time. First time doing this, i legit couldn't walk for the first 10 minutes after doing it. It's been half an hour and i think my legs have never hurt more, also, i seem like a penguin walking. My classes are starting in less than a month and i'm gonna start having p.e. (again). I'm screwed. I'm gonna try and keep doing this for the next few weeks, hopefully I'll get better. Fighting!!

@LOVE MUSIC for me it does. I've been doing these exercises everyday now. I feel better than I did before I started 2 weeks ago, and I feel super accomplished and proud immediately after. Also it's really good at diverting the anxiousness as soon as I get into the exercises- what ever I was freaking out about becomes the last thing on my mind 👍

Alright y’all, coming from someone who is serious about losing the weight, I’m trying this out for 2 months, and I’ll update on here for y’all every week to two weeks or so. Comment and like so I can remember to update! Week 1. I was able to successfully do 15 minutes of this before my body gave out. Starting weight: 249lbs. I’m doing intermittent fasting and calorie counting so we will see if this works! See you next week and tell you if I made it!

just did this as my first work out in months... talking like MONTHS months! I’ve worked out only a handful of times since the pandemic so like 2 years ago :( It’s so hard to get back into it. Especially since now I am so out of shape that I get winded really easily. this workout seems good for beginners, but I’d be lying if I said I did the whole thing without more breaks. I took a minute break around the 7minute mark, and by the end of the last exercise my arms were so wobbly, but I still got through the video. not perfect but I’m happy I finally got a work out in after all this time. thanks :)

I'm also starting to work out after months of nothing. I've did the beginners 15min cardio 4 times last week and no I decided to do this one and I'm SWEATING 😅 but I did it!! And the 15 min one almost knocked me out the first time lol so I'm feeling better

I’m only 12 and this was my first time trying to do this. It wasn’t easy at all but hopefully in the future I will be able to do all of it with out needing a break

@@sophiekelly3818 Wow! I started working out when I was 13 and now I'm fifteen and still love working out with MadFit. She is literally the best one out there on youtube in my opinion!!

This is what we call a beginner work out : pushed me to my limit and did not over worked me to not be proud of my self .. the time limit spot on and I feel like I can come back becouse the goal you set in this work out is realistic ... Thank you❤

This is my second time doing this workout. I’m definitely out of shape but was able to keep and break a good sweat. Love it! Will be using this until I’m ready for something more difficult.

I’ve been doing this for 3 weeks and it has helped SO MUCH!!! I have fibromyalgia and my pain was horrible but since I’ve added this to my stretching routine my pain has eased up so much in my back and my hips especially. Thank you!!!!!

Im very out of shape and I went from 5 min, to ten to 15 each day. Hopefully will get in all 20 by the end of the week

Hi♡!! I just wanted to share that im a mid size 17 year old who has gained a lot of weight over the two years of pandemic and I have been doing this workout recently. At first i felt like dying after i was done with it but one week and three days later I CAN BREATHE PRETTY NORMALLY AFTER FINISHING THIS IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF THANK YOU SM MADFIT MUAH MUAH MUAH♡♡♡ Honestly it has slowly shifted from "god why am i doing this i won't need a fit body I'll just die at 40 years old" to "..hm maybe I'll die looking fabulous at 40" and hopefully it'll end up being "lmao this is refreshing" in the near future HOPEFULLY because i am terrible at continuing things BUT Today currently im happy and really grateful for this workout thank you your highness. ☆3☆ Edit: minor spelling changes (i make a lot of typos :") )

This but I'm 15 I haven't been to school this year or last year due to my insecurities but I'm finally done sitting around doing nothing last week I finally went outside after months of being in the house and it felt great 👍🏾

I am 42. fell, broke my hand and herniated 2 discs in my neck this time last year. spent 3 months laying flat and needing help with everything, and many more months taking it very easily. feel great now but Ive got some belly blubb I cant shift after resting and healing. I love this low impact workout! Gonna commit to 20 mins a day of raised heart rate, low impact exercise and see how it goes!! this video will be a regular!!

After having a baby I lost 9kg in 6 months with this workout daily (no diet)… 70kg to 61 will keep going. It’s a daily routine now 👏🏻

It's good that I found this one doable Day 2 July 23 weight: 66.57kg Body a little bit sore, but still kept pushing, I couldn't finish some workouts though. I'm a complete overweight beginner who hasn't exercised for about 2? 3? years, but this morning I woke up and felt the urge to workout, so here I am, paused a couple of times, skipped a couple of exercise, but still did this I'm really proud of myself and promise it's just the beginning of the journey Thank you! ❤️

I had the same experience. I used to work out 5 days a week but I stopped and never picked it back up. I gained 40 pounds so here I am. I was looking for someone who wasn’t like “this was so easy I did the whole thing”. Whew I’m sweating. We got this

I knew I was out of shape and I knew the first day would be challenging but OMG, I almost didn’t make it 🤣 but the important thing was that when I couldn’t do anymore, I didn’t stop or just give up, I continued the active rest. My goal is to lose 40 pounds by the end of the year so there’s no going back now! Keep it up everyone!!! We can do this!!! 💪🏻🏋️‍♀️
