But the fact that he got noticed and was even able to talk with other party members at a roundtable, giving him a voice in politics, actually is impressive and if you go to his youtube, obviously some of his 'proposes' are comedic underlined but like in this clip of him, that he was able to talk to the people and the politicians and tell them that ''one prime minister against all the EU ministers will be a shitshow'' is a fair point. He may be a comedian but he has some valid points from a basic citizen's view. Even if he couldn't be realistically engaged into the deep politics stuff, he is not just babbleing around and has some common sense and realistic views on the future of the UK. I'm actually impressed. You know it's that common comedic moment you get when you tell yourself ''haha it's funny because it's possible''.
