Okkk... here’s my theory for Film Out.. so what if Jungkook and Jin are time traveling simultaneously?! Jungkook is stuck in his own loop, he’s trying to figure out who ran him over. That’s why he’s so distant from everyone. This is now messing up Jins timeline. Jungkook knows when Jin is traveling back in time? That’s why Jk looks at the mirror where Jin is.. Jins hourglass is full because his loop just started (maybe trying to regain his memories) So Jungkook looks at his... and his is now empty... so Jk is about to start another loop.. Since Jungkook’s loop is restarting they all fade... Jin doesn’t understand why since he just got there..(He doesn’t know Jungkook is also in his own loop) The windows shatter making Jin’s loop start over. Jin runs back out the door to try and escape the loop.. only to realize he has failed once again. Opening up a new door of another parallel universe he has created from time traveling. His current door is the only one with a platform, meaning all the floating doors are his failed attempts. He walks back to look at the empty room where the boys were. Only to see his own reflection not knowing Taehyung is on the other side. Tae had a dream about this timeline so he came to the room. He tried to reach out to Jin, but Jin had already left and started another Loop🤯 Namjoon is pretty much the peacemaker, that’s why you only see him in the MV with all the members. Jimin is dealing with his own battle because all the boys are a hot mess, that’s why you only see him alone in a yellow space. Yellow means happy... but Jimin doesn’t look happy, he wants to be happy again. Hoseok and Yoongi are the ones helping Jin find the Map of the Soul, so that’s why those two are paired up in the video. Them being back to back in a mirror/door represents them both in different timelines feeling helpless because they can’t find the Map of the Soul.

Two things that I've noticed: 1. when Jin is looking through the glass he is looking directly at Namjoon first, and Namjoon moves (sings) as Jin looks at him. Everyone else is frozen. The moment that Jin behind the glass starts turning his back on them, everyone else starts moving, and Jin does not see that, only we the audience do. Maybe significant in a way how separated Jin feels from all of them and how they can only be or exist when he is not interfering, but the thing that interests me here is that a version of him is with all the others that never once interacts with the other Jin. Also if RM is being alive/unfrozen only when the other Jin is looking at him - the things he says could be spoken directly to Jin? This correlates to how the lyrics could be connected to Jin. 2. For the confusing Hobi/Suga scene: Sope/Taejin - this I couldn't really get but: Sope is reflected first in not seeing each other but sitting back to back, and later on in the video they are facing each other, touching hands through the doorway. At the end of the video we are shown that Jin is looking at the glass and Tae is on the other side but they can't seem to see each other I'd say, since the last shot is only of Tae looking to Jins side, but Jin is not there anymore. As we know that Tae is aware through his dreams and other of what is happening and is willing to help Jin in the end to finish this but Jin is lost in the sand of time. Oh... so the sand glass reference! I just got that hahah :D Also also, this could be a clue on how someone else who is aware what is happening needs to help Jin - there must always be two people dealing with this? Maybe that's why Jin's father didn't succeed because he tried to everything by himself and one person is not enough to right all the wrongs and finally get to the map of the soul?

However this utopia can only exist as long as they keep one child suffering and locked up. What if the boys can only be saved and happy at the expense of Jungkook. He is kept in the dark and isolated. This is what the cat meant by saying living will just be pain.

My theory is the reason why Jin wasn't in the room with the other members is because he were able to save THEM but not HIMSELF. And with the hourglass and the sand going down I feel like it means time is running out and a new time loop is about to begin.

I think the theory behind this is, they had been separated with each other, or jin saved them, but at last, he couldn't save himself... As the first lyric jungkook sings, 'you, in my imagination, are so vivid' maybe it dedicates that jin is far away from them (like in different universe linked with each other) but they are not sure about who he is, but they have memories 'As if you're right here, but I reach out my hand and suddenly you disappear' That they remember him, they have vivid imaginations, as they try to get him back, he disappears... (Also, whenever jin sees them they froze, but when he turns, or when he couldn't see them they unfroze) "From all the memories stored in my heart, I gather up the ones of you, link them together, gazing at them projected across the room, I feel you with every burst of pain' That means, they are trying to link up all the memories of him about what's happening with them and when Taehyung says his line, he means he can see Jin but can't do anything but feel his pain because he is very far in another universe.... (He is also looking at Jin in the last chorus, which can bring sense to that lyrics)In namjoon's part he says "two glasses faced side by side, their role never fulfilled, ah, just as they were" Does that indicate the two rooms mirror, in which jin is standing alone and the other one where all of them are with each other (even jin) but frozen)

I've always thought Tae and Jin were connected especially their powers. And that bit about JK also making a deal with the cat makes a lot of sense.

But what if Seokjin is the one who needs to be saved? Like Jin was able to save them, but he trapped himself in an endless loop where he keeps on having that desire to save them but actually, he was not just able to save himself. What if he accepts Taehyung's help? Like in BU In order to save the members they have to help each other (he needs the members help to save himself (but he hasn't realized it yet)). So that's why he keeps on traveling back in time. He already know how to save every member but he doesn't know how to save himself.. And then that's when he knew/realizes that he can't save himself alone and that he needs help, that's when the 'save me' and 'I'm fine' came into the picture.. What if Jin was the one who wrote 'Save me' but Taehyung can't see it because he's on a different dimension and that the world Taehyung is in was inverted so instead of him seeing 'Save me' he sees 'Im fine'... So Taehyung needs to find out that it's 'Save me' before it's too late. But on the other hand, what if taehyung already know that he needs to Save Jin but he's already too late?. So in short in order to save himself he needs to accept Taehyung's offer to help him. (THAT'S ALL I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW) (04-02-21) Edit: i still have more but it's still not clear.. My theory is that when Jin opened the door it represents all of the timelines Jin has created because of the little sand timer I think it represents how JK created a new timeline, Jin creating a timeline to save the members and when Taehyung has dreams of the events which is why DNA says “This is our destiny”

Also in the last scene between Jin and V. I think V can see all the timelines Jin has left and his mistakes. And that’s why tries to help Jin in yeh current timeline Jin was in by reaching out. But before he could Jin already left for another timeline. Also I think the price Jungkook paid to the cat was doubt. The doubt that he developed in his family, his brothers. I think in the future he would realise this and would learn that he has to express his true feelings to other members in order to come out of this misery. I’m just speculating but maybe we might get another studio album with another concept. Because map of the soul series solved Jin’s problem likewise maybe the new series would solve JK’s worries. My theory: 1-When jin was running it may represent him gaining his memory back and him when he was saving the others 2-Suga and JHope sitting back to back may represent: 1)both of them have lost their mothers but chosed different ways to live 2) The difference between the past and the future or different dimensions (universes) 3- I think in V's part when the sand clock is half and half it represents the same time in both dimensions

In reference to that door that appeared open and dark, seems to me Jin noticed it was and runs believing that was the right moment to escape through the door in his room, but he was wrong and returns, walking towards Taehung that moment has passed and you see the door in Taehung’s side is now closed once again and Jin has vanished 🤔

The door in between Hobi and Yoongi was the way Jung explain the Map Of the Soul. Search the graph online. They represent the two sides. Still Shadow and Ego. Them yellow room for both Tae and Jimin was empty and closed off which i feel could be prison and asylum which were the two places they end up with in some of the universes. I think being trapped was present for all 3 maknaes so they were the ones in the same rooms together.

Army what about this , I guess jin time traveled multiple times in FILM OUT MV itself, cuz you can see first jin see all BTS member from a parallel universe then Jungkook looks at jin and then all members along with Jungkook disappears, everything become mess around jin , and then after you can see jin opened the door and there's multiple door , at the end I guess he time traveled again but there only taehyung left . Also In the end see the lyrics that jin sings " you in my imagination" to tae cuz he is only at the end also taehyung sings " until I reached out my hand ,you suddenly disappear". Does that mean taehyung also know that jin is time traveling and it means Taehyung says to jin you can't help me when I reached your hand you disappear. I so I guess Jungkook and taehyung know that jin is time traveling to unite all members but he have to stay far from rest of members to make them stay together, but here Jungkook and taehyung is hinting that they don't wanna stay with rest of members , so that jin could stay with BTS if he doesn't try to save anyone one of em. I got strong vibes about Sope being separated from everyone somehow and isolated and each is on one side of the door and aware of the other but unable to meet. I feel like the lyrics sort of support this. Suga talks about wanting you (J Hope) to always stay smiling and kind hearted and J Hope says, "if tears can be measured, it took this long but I barely made it by your side." I think this is REALLY interesting because it's almost like an awareness of all the tears they've cried in all the timelines until now, and they finally found each other. Sope usually isn't paired in the BU, so I think this reinforces that. Lastly, JK has the last line in that verse, "and I finally found you." I *think* that the reason Sope found each other is because of JK. JK seems to have an awareness of everything now, and is going his own direction with saving everyone, opposite Jin. Instead of Tae being with RM, Jimin being with Hobi, and JK being with Suga, the usual pairing, Sope is together and VMin is together. I wonder if JK's interference is causing an unraveling of sorts and that's why Jin tries to run away and is instead met with a bunch of doors and Sope ends up in some weird platform in a desert, together, but unable to touch.
