Personally I liked the play because you got away with it, but if you didn’t lie about getting a dead dev at the end orange wouldn’t have pulled the vp. Karma. It goes round!

I have a hard time understanding settling the 3 instead of the 6. I know wheat was at a premium but statistically speaking you will get 6s almost 3 times more often

These kinds of games make me rather watch than play and run into these players 😅

Man, even despite the rolls going against you, you still could've pulled it off due to your opponents' misplays (OJ flat out had to get super lucky with those early 10s and 11s to build out to the 62 and then he got perfect devs). Feels to me like if black had just built up to the brick port after getting that miracle 6311 (instead of doing some nonsense of taking road around the 5 ore) and gotten his city pronto, he probably would've won this game. Overall, in my eyes, the only thing you could've done differently that would've had a significant impact is the 6 ore settle, which would've definitely helped you this game over the 3 but I am not sure if that is results oriented thinking or not.

With all the "this guy is stream snipping" and "this top #200 player is not doing well" comments, sometimes I think Drew doesn't realize the majority of people do not play Catan for a living?

6/9/3 not bad, but I honestly think 8/4/3 is first pick here. Board has low brick and very low wheat. So with the wood port 8/4/3 should do better statistically than 6/9/3.
