I worked for one of these companies for 7 years. There is so much pressure on from parents’ groups and governments not to make any more kids cereals, that companies have to tread carefully. There is no joy on our side developing something that will be slammed as too high in sugar and ‘giving kids diabetes’ etc. Altho I agree; the marketing dept and NPD were very lacking in imagination and gumption. They’ve spent the last 30 years trying to build up the nerve to move from the box to a bag. Similar to film companies, they are risk averse. It would be great to see a new entrant disrupt the industry. All the new entrants make muesli. Why not make a kids cereal?

I'm 62 and tried smoking , vaping and eating/drinking . I don't like coffee so I use to make hot cacao (the real stuff not some fucking prefab) and add 1 teaspoon coconut infused oil keeps me going biggest part of the day. Yeah it takes longer to hit but last much longer and is way more effective.
