At some point Graswald stopped offering updates on Blender Market and started a subscription service. I am not sure I like how if I buy an addon on Blender Market it can just disappear later.

yeah I didn't realize that when I made an account and the greedy mofo doesn't even let you delete your account so you? your email is permanently stuck on that website until they decide to add a feature that lets you delete your account. so I'm going to spam the feedback section with piss poor reviews until they either remove my email for me on account of my rudeness, or make changes.

Great add-on, and great video. Worth mentioning that it is not compatible with Blender 3.1 as of Today 19 March 2022!

I don't animate plants in Blender. I'm just looking at some animation features in Blender It is confusing. Soft bodies, rigid, bones, particles? Is there no wind shader that animates vertex colors? I can probably 3D model any leafy plant. I studied some trees last week. To improve low poly and fracture animation in the future. Trees are slightly more difficult. It doesn't take long to get a collection. Its time to plant for real this Spring!!! Lol

I kinda have an issue with using "free" instead of " *free*" for addons that require 100$ to use comercially. Depending on the country, a portfolio, tutorial ,published/posted work is comercial and can lead to license disputes etc. IMO Licensed products should maybe have a disclaimer/discosure.

But G Scatter is free even for commercial use, it is written on their website, this is about the scattering add-on and not the assets packs.

Hi Artists I need a little help from you all. I need to know how you can export model in blender in obj or fbx with all included materials like glass metal plastic etc that we have applied to any material. I Tried doing it myself and watching tutorials but every timeI import the obj file that i have made there is no material like glass etc. Anybody knows please help.Thanks

Materials are not something universally exported unless there is a specific bridge plugin that does it for you. This means you'll have to separate all the metallic, specular, AO, normals ect, into separate texture maps so you can plug the texture into any material shader outside of blender.

@@khangamerx8841 - Idk any videos off the top of my head. Look into UV unwrapping, texture map types, texture baking, retopology, and give yourself time to research about how shaders are separated like you see in films and games. It'll take time. You got this.

The free asset pack doesnt come with full option like the weight paint of the grass shown which makes the render too heavy.
