Great video. Ive also installed mini split on my vintage class c. So quiet! And love the heat and a/c can run with no exterior noise to bother camp neighbors. On the compressor rack on mine we added cornet uprights and swingdown bars with cushions that are locked in to place. Helps secure unit vibration when driving and makes sure no theft risk. The cover I added also keeps road debree from travel damage. Its still half the price of an old furnace repair and sure helps when talking to visitors without shouting over the old roof a/c. Love mine!

How well has the mini split worked since installed? Will it cool the bus while traveling ?

Do you have to cover it when you're not using it and driving down the road to keep the dirt from getting up inside the unit

Nope! We've been driving around for over a year without a cover with no issues. The negative vacuum pressure behind a vehicle while driving probably has a lot to do with it.

I'm not an ac guy but I know from experience that cutting linesets too short will make ac not operate correctly. Hopefully you didn't cut off too much like I did. You may have wanted to coil up that 6 feet you cut off behind that wall panel.
