Want a shocker? I know her personal physician and the medical examine who did her autopsy. I have seen her medical records and I can honestly say, both from my opinion and from the two of them as well, I've never known another human being to consume so much drugs and Alcohol and not die from it. She consumed more drugs in a single day than most addicts do in a year. Here's the thing, she would have never made it past 30 if she didn't. The amount of physical pain she must of experienced every moment of everyday is astounding. How she didn't die of shock is beyond me. I wish people would be more honest about things like this. More people might be around today if they didn't feel the need to hide and are ashamed by what is required for them to function.

Elizabeth Taylor had a lot of charisma and magic to her...an especially unusual level of glamour...the ability to sort of wrap herself in an aura of elegance, and a sort of royal generosity to go with it. No matter who's Hosting Late Night TV, there will never be anyone like Johnny Carson. He made us feel like we were part of the show. He was always prepared to entertain and make Us laugh. What a great Man, and Ed and Doc and the band and all those years of just being himself and engaging! R.I.P. JOHNNY, YOURE STILL THE GREATEST!!! 🧐👍

You make a great point I've never read anywhere else about Johnny Carson. He really did have a connection with the audience that no other talk show host since has. Some might interact with their audience a little in some ways, but it's not the same quality of connection. And even watching at home on the TV, as I did as a kid, I felt included. Thanks for making that point. 😊

Johnny Carson's ease at while he interviews Elizabeth Taylor and the way she responds is classic. His responses and expressions. Nobody does it better !!!😃

Elizabeth Taylor still shines like a 69 carat diamond. Such a beautiful, sweet, humble lady. Johnny Carson was a funny, respectful gentleman and a true professional. Both are much loved, timeless stars. IMO. 💕

This interview has to be the best of Johnny Carson's 30 years on television. Elizabeth looks the very best ever....clean and sober at the time 4 years and that was a lifetime struggle for her and huge credit for the guts to keep trying to get sober and stay sober ....one day at a time. Fabulous interview between two flawed individuals who were able to laugh at all of their mistakes! Because it's called LIFE! BRAVO ! ✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨

We shall never see the like of Johnny again. A true class act. Growing up I couldn't watch, he was on so late. And as I grew and watched he was a natural and all his guests were treated with respect and seeing him with Lady Liz, wow.
@ddz13752 роки тому
I wasn't allowed to stay up late either but I snuck down anyway. The Civility and respect by Johnny Carson to his guests it's just not seen today. Nor is a guest spot last this long and be interviewed as well. It's all about the dollar and selling something in 5 minutes or less

Elizabeth Taylor was amazingly beautiful, talented, accomplished, & ultimately, an industry icon. A tenacious survivor of endless trials & tribulations. Courageous, loyal & philanthropic. A career spanning her lifetime since childhood. I've watched her movies from her career beginning to her last performances. Her life was several lifetimes lived, all concentrated into one persons life. She just kept going, & living & accomplishing, with fierce determination to overcome all adversity. When you'd think that she certainly couldnt.... she could, & bounced back better than before, every time. Unbelievable life, in a very believable woman.

Elizabeth and Johnny were present for the majority of my life. When you are a kid, you don't ever think of the posibility of them not being here one day. When they die, it is a shock! You take it personally. It's as if they were personal friends. It hurts and it is a very emotional experience! I cried over both of their passings. I truly miss them both. I know it was only their bodies that died. They are on the otherside of the veil enjoying a beautiful life, THE REAL LIFE. I sometimes envy all those who are home in the spirit. No worries, no pain, no reason to fear.

This was a pleasant entertaining interview. They both did well interacting with each other. When she first started talking to Carson, the tone of her voice was higher pitched, then it went down to its normal tone. It may have been due to nervousness at first, then she was able to relax and be herself. She comes across with a good sense of humor, and has the ability to laugh at herself. Not only does she look great here at 60, but she also had a beautiful smile. Alot of other celebrities on Carson would talk over him, but Taylor actually listened to what he said. Elizabeth Taylor was a wonderful woman. A class act.
@puterbac2 роки тому
Anytime I see Carson clips I always point out one of the things I really loved about Carson was his guests all STAYED for the next guest and to the end of the show. It usually led to funny interactions and it was a sign of respect for Carson and for the guests themselves. Nobody has done that for decades on any of the other shows. Miss that.

Johnny was nervous interviewing Mrs.Taylor but you can see he had a great time. She was so relaxed and she is so sensuously beautiful. She's almost earthy but at the same time funny. To be in show business for 50 years and just be 60 years old. WOW! Elizabeth Taylor can be both aggressive and so passive and sweet. I guess that is a Pisces for ya.
