Escalating Tensions: Russia Produces 3 Tanks A Day for The Battlefield

In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, tanks play a crucial role. Ukraine receives considerable support from its allies, who provide them with numerous tanks, while Russia relies on its own tank production. Notably, each day, Russia sends up to three tanks to the Ukrainian battlefield due to its expansive tank manufacturing industry. The surprising reason behind this lies in the significant number of tanks being destroyed in the ongoing battles. However, a consistent cycle of destruction and replacement is in place, maintaining a balanced flow, albeit with a slight inclination towards replacing the fallen Russian tanks. So, what exactly is this balanced flow? and how many tanks Russia actually has?

In Abvdiivca alone the UCRANIANS have a 1 to 11.5 tank loss advantage against the invading orc army when it comes to tanks. Also. 3 tanks produced a day is nothing when in a single attack Russia loses 2-3 tanks and 2-6 AFVS in each attempted attack on Abvdiivca alone 😂 When Russia produces 3 tanks a day Ukraine produces 1,000 RPG ROUNDS ABD FPVS 😂

T-55s are actually more loved than the newer T-62s which had several issues with the engine and inaccurate smooth bore cannon. And they do use their BTRs, MLTBs etc in DA and IDA roles. russian's are willing destroy everything in their path and sacrifice company sized elements just to draw out our artillery so they can counter battery. The Russians still maintain the attritive warfare production strategy of WWII. They stick with using materials and designs that can be built from easier to acquire resources, as the pressures of war can bottleneck production of higher tech designs. Probably why the T-14 isn't being pushed as hard as the bread and butter older tank series. More focus on equipment that is generally good enough, based on field success.

According to Shoigu they have 270 repair stations along the battlefield. They can assemble a tank in a couple of days from salvage parts. Their combat engineers collect damage tanks and fix them from cannibalize parts. Ukraine doesn’t have that capability that's why they need more tanks. Your hypothesis is flawed. @@justinlawrence5453 There is more than enough evidence for most of the Leopard 2 tanks having been destroyed. There are also evidence of at least 2x Challenger tanks having been destroyed. There are also articles in the western media which claims that the UK has asked to Ukrainians to keep the Challengers once they achieved a break through - which obviously did not happened, and is not going to happen. The anti tank weapons on both sides are such that a tank which is seen does not survive for very long. So the Russians are losing tanks as well as the Ukrainians. Russia started with many more, and they can repair and replace tanks at a significantly higher rate than the Ukrainians. The west cannot supply newly built tanks. The capability to manufacture the main gun of the Challenger does not exist in Europe anymore for example. So even if they can manufacture new Challengers, they cannot provide the guns. Most people does not seem to realize how much the West European arms manufacturing industry has been decimated in the last 3 or 4 decades. Mostly because of their "friends" the USA, who puts tremendous pressure to kill off any domestic developments in the EU, so that they can sell their own stuff.

I agree, Russia isn't building brand new, old tanks at all. The T-90 is a good example, it's in use and it's still in it's development cycle and is a monster. Some say better than an Abrams (less weak spots) And it's also just a T-72 which they never stopped upgrading, starting with Ukraine's own tanks which I believe are all Soviet era T-72's. What you get today, won't be the exact same one you get a month from now. A year from now it might even get a new number. LOL They never stop developing and each tank is almost unique in that sense. Hell, they're on the third version of just the Lancet Drone. It was introduced in Syria and perfected in Ukraine. They only cost 8,000 dollars to make. The Lancet 3 can swarm in groups of 8 (pickup truck racks, pickup truck racks?) and has a common AI powered interface. This allows them to pick their own targets autonomously. If it's in their database, it's dead dead. And it ran all the Leopard 2 tanks out of Ukraine; almost single handedly. Germany's sending them all back home. NATO is in shock. The Leopards were a preferred target and got massacred. The Abrams have been hiding, but when they come out; the same thing is going to happen to them. The grinder. The Lancets also stitch together a huge map in real time and shares it with all the other battle interfaces, whether it be ground/ air/ infantry/ artillery, or the Navy. They all talk to each other electronically. And if anyone can use anything on that map, they can react within 5 minutes; before the event is even over. Not wasting half the day lining up the shots. Everything on the map is already GPS marked. (that pesky AI again) It's pretty amazing actually to see it all work. Even their artillery cannons are smart to that effect. They can fire off that map loaded with GPS coordinates with smart ammunition that can hit a nickel at 200 miles. I watched one of those tiny Lancet drones (it looks like a kite) blow an armored patrol boat out of the water. That's why you don't see any aircraft carriers in Ukraine, or Africa. And they're sending 10,000 Lancet 3's to Syria. It's not if you can hit the tank, it's WHERE you can hit the tank. War is not the same game it was 20 years ago and Russia knows exactly how to play it. LOL

Ukraine: we photographed our own destroyed tank 2000 times. Oryx: great, we see 2000 destroyed Russian tanks here. @JimmyThomist As promised, here's my audit of Oryx's equipment loss tracking. Oryx is well touted by institutional and mainstream media sources for an independent and open source verifiable low end accounting of equipment losses in the Ukraine War. The hoopla about geolocating vehicle losses in Ukraine led me to do an audit of the first 10 Russian lost vehicles on the Oryx site..... I knew it was a suspect source but doing a deep dive was frankly shocking. I'll give more details later, but for the 10 reported losses:So all I can say about 9/10 of the entries is they show images of vehicles taken somewhere, at sometime of either Russian or Ukrainian vehicles. Literally what i keep saying to people... Sure drones are changing warefare, and you see vids of tank losses, which is expected, but while UAF isn't making really any new tanks, and only got several dozens from NATO, Russia is producing, and producing more. Same with artillery, same with ammo, same with drones, and not even accounting for Russia's Naval, and Airpower.... For scale, the USSR built about 200 tanks per day at it's peak in ww2. Producing over 110,000 in total during the war. Russia could scale up production to probably 30/day rather easily if they put serious effort into it and switched into a full wartime economic model. People forget how insane arms buildups can become when need presses. The U.S. built 5000 naval vessels in 4 years. 50,000 tanks, over 200,000 planes, and hundreds of thousands of artillery pieces. If things actually kick off, we could see literally 40-50X more equipment produced with the modern world's economic power. (Assuming no nukes are used) If this happens and things drsg out, civilization is set back a century at least. Our weapons are better, will be more numerous, more people will fire them, and more civilians will die. The same amount of territory in the world, and 7x the population.

No way that Russia can recover from that. Russia cannot outproduce the 30 countries supporting Ukraine and does not have quality troops left (the VDV suffered 25% losses in the initial invasion).

The real game changer will be the new Self propelled fully automated AI based artillery they are now starting to field. 10 aimed and optimized rounds of 152 mm per minute. But they will most likely shot 3 or 4 rounds, then scoot a few hundred yards to avoid counter-battery fire. Will even operate by remote control. Once they have 50 or so of those on the line, Ukraine will be backing up at full speed.

This is not enough, the plant is capable of 12 and it is not just one plant. I remember 2 years ago, local experts assured me that Russia cannot produce tanks, something about chips, about destroyed factories... And no arguments were accepted. How many disappointments these people have ahead of them...! 😆

In a war where drones take out Abrams, Challenger, Leopard and T-90 alike, reactivating old T-55s for fire support is a very cost effective move. In the long run Russia is winning the war of attrition in tanks. The bigger question is winning the drone war.

3 day, 90 month, 1080 year, The Uralvagonzavod plant has increased production by about 4-5 times, as well as in the east of the country, the t80 and t62 tanks are being restored and modernized, the Uralvagonzavod plant produces t90M and t72B3, the Russian Federation in 2024 has a defense budget of 44% of the country's GDP, for comparison, the USSR at the peak of its power had 29.9% of the country's GDP. The Russian Federation has also increased the production of other weapons complexes from 2 to 100 times over the past 2 years. We produce FPV drones hundreds of times more than it was in 2022.

Ukraine has shown incredible spirit and courage in this war, but those two strengths can’t overcome a lack of material support that will eventually doom them. Similar to Germany in WW2, they have the determination and perhaps even better training, but not the manpower or industrial capacity to stave off a seemingly inexhaustible number of Russian troops.
@bowernerkristiansen82

Immediately the Russians have an advantage with a large tank production, but as long as the Russians limit the use of tanks to predominantly tactical support functions for infantry and as self-propelled gun artillery, the advantages are limited and not decisive. But if, on the other hand, they take the plunge and use their tank capacity to set up real tank armies like in WW2 - and initiate deep thrusts into Ukraine bypassing larger Ukrainian units, their advantage will be complete.

Losses reported from UK etc. suspect. Nonetheless taken at face value degrading RF seems impossible. Recruiting in RF is strong so all that remains is time to train up. Standardization used more in RF than West such as guns and optics, engines giving old chassis firepower equal to later models.

The T90's being produced now are of a lower standard then the T90's made before the Ukraine invasion as russia has lost access to advanced electronics and optics that they were sourcing from France and Germany. Russia's military infrastructure has been significantly affected by corruption with basic maintanance not being done add in the corruption in the storage facilities where vehicles have been stripped of parts and sold meaning many vehicles require a far greater level of restoration then they should. So many video's coming out talking about Russia's advantages and great production leads to a pretty simple question which is if they are all right why hasn't Russia won yet ?. This video pretending there are no issues bringing stored tanks back to combat readiness tells you all you need to know about the credibility of this channel.
