The worst one ever was when they gave James, finally, a Dacia Sandero, and it realy made him ever so happy.... And then they ran it over with a lorry while he watched. That was _actually_ pretty mean.

The joke was a simple gift with a high impact. because James just got out of the hospital with a severe concussion/skull laceration and had 3 broken ribs from being kicked backwards off a horse and falling onto a rock.

I wonder if they keep any of the presents that was bought for them as a momento from each of their epic trips abroad. Just to look back and reflect upon during their old age. Would be such a shame if they didn't. Because the memories these three have created with each other is something really special.

What I really like is, they're all genuinely thoughtful gifts. They actually put the effort in to give each-other presents the recipient will like and want to take care of. ...they just all happen to be comically large and impractical.

I dunno man, that's the happiest I've ever seen him and he sounded genuinely touched. To be fair, though, he ended up breaking three ribs earlier in the episode due to being kicked off a horse, and was high on painkillers when he got the stuffed horse

The watch salvaged from the car that crashed and burned with Richard inside it is almost a nice touch, since he recovered. However, besides that watch, and the oven mitts, how many Top Gear presents have survived to the end of the program? We all remember the brevity with which that Dacia lasted.
