I live in corbin Kentucky so I know about the area that was in that story . I am next to part of the Daniel Boone National Forest and we have bigfoot / sasquatch around here

Hey Nance - I absolutely loved it even with the background secret noises…!😂 As an alternative idea… Perhaps you could every once in a while get them to make some other secret noises and then we could have that chance of trying to guess what it is in the background. Maybe even enter to win a prize or something. The thought just occurred to me because it sounded so cool hearing something in the background. I don’t think it took away from the story because I definitely was holding closer to what you had to say but I could also overhear background pitter patter. Hope that’s helpful.

I know that,when they have a gas/oil well in an area, the people who live nearby, makes a contract with getting a check from that certain well, each month pays the people living close to that well or until the well runs dry. The people, must have at least 10 acres of land to get the oil/gas money. This person, needs to goto their court house & see if they can benefit from a nearby well. I hope this person, when they sold their land, they kept all the mineral rights, so she can still get money for that well.

I agree with this person ( seen one at 25 yards ) they are deadly...my experience feeling I had at the time ( and I don't scare easy )

I know the author said he was depressed, and I totally get that… I’m there now. For my own reasons. But if I had seen a Sasquatch face to face, I’d probably not be sleeping with the windows open at night.

This is one wild story. I too know that general area pretty well since I've spent time there over the years, at least since before I moved full time down to Florida in the past ten yrars years or so now. Good Lord how that time has flown! The oil and coal mining companies sure have their way in not just Kentucky but West Virginia and other states in Appalachia. I'm glad that this guy did get back up on his feet after that hard time this country faced after the crash of 2008 and 09. My own retirement savings took a big hit as I was heading towards retirement age myself. I never did fully recoop my investment losses, but I knew plenty of people that got nearly or totally financially wiped out from those years and they pretty much lost everything, never getting back to the level of prosperity they once had. I wonder where those Bigfoot moved to? I can understand why those Bigfoot were pissed off thanks to the oil drilling. I did some volunteer stuff a decade or so ago, wirh some of the groups in Kentucky and West Virginia trying to at least minimize all of the tremendous damage done by Mountain Top Removal Coal Mining. Thanks to that, people got pushed off the land settled by their ancestors when they moved to those mountains and hollers at the end of the Revolutionary War and the founding of the nation. I'd bet that the Bigfoot getting displaced by things like oil drilling and fracking is why there are more sightings of them in areas closer to towns like Richmond and the outermost fringes of Lexington and Cincinnati areas. They are going to be like coyotes have done, learn how to live closer to deeper human settlement and development. If these things are as relatively intelligent as they do seem to be, they will find ways to adapt and survive.

The insurance guy says he doesn't think their a human missing link and to that a say do some research on human evelution because theres quite a few of our ancestors that fit the distription od Bigfoot just on a smaller scale.

If Sasquatch were how you say, you would not be able to tell this story. No what it is are a lot of our men are now very soft and have more fear than bravery. And yes i have seen more than one squatch, I just dont fear death or anything else.
