I need to solder many PCBs, so I decided to build a Reflow hot plate for SMD soldering. My idea is to use it as an everyday tool, so I decided to improve all the available designs online.
This hot plate is able to measure the PCBs temperature using an infrared temperature sensor rather than a temperature sensor attached to the plate, it is able to follow any soldering temperature profile storage on a SD card and, thanks to a ESP32 microcontroller we can also upload wirelessly any temperature curve we want to follow as well as start the cycle wirelessly. In summary, we can upload and run any reflow curve we need. Imagine all possible use cases!

Hi, can i use thermocouple instead of using the IR temperature? Actually in my place that particular parts price is too high.

I would have liked to understand what you were saying but unfortunately your enunciation and speed of speech was a garbled mess , and yes I adjusted the sound and volume , but it did not work. The problem i am having is human , I'm sorry I'm not bi-lingual but just thought I would let you know. I have found the problem on other sites as well but I just don't go back. I'm old and don't have a lot of time . I did enjoy your video , I just turned the sound off and followed your diagrams and schematics ,, pretty neat . Keep up the good work.
