C'est ce qui s'appelle un merveilleux travail d'art mécanique. Il ne manque plus que la fabrication d'un véhicule pour recevoir ce moteur. L'ensemble ferait un extraordinaire effet dans un concours de modèles réduits à moteurs thermiques. Pour réaliser cela, il ne faut pas seulement être ingénieur-mécanicien mais également tourneur/ajusteur avec un "zest" d'horloger.

@@luciebloem9150 Merci pour l'info et je ne peux que vous croire car je viens de voir une autre vidéo montrant un tourneur/ajusteur à l'oeuvre réalisant un chassis et une boîte de vitesse animés par le même moteur. Je suis admiratif car j'ai appris les rudiments de l'ajustage mais cela s'est arrêté là, le destin en ayant décidé autrement.

The first car I drove regularly was my old man's 1963 Fairlane with a short block V8. Back when V8s were common, and gasoline was dirt cheap. Carburetors, voltage regulators, distributors, points, condensers, mechanical fuel pumps, timing lights...ahhh, those were the good old days. Did I forget bumper jacks?

La vieille mécanique ,on s'arrache les cheveux quand ça ne fonctionne pas...puis ça devient nos meilleurs souvenirs . Mes meilleurs fous rires c'est quand avec mes amis on essayait de régler le débrayage/ embrayage de ma Citroën DS (l'embrayage et la boîte étaient pilotés automatiquement , théoriquement 😂, par la centrale hydraulique de haute pression ,mal réglé la voiture bondissait comme un cabri).

so yes, he built it. DID he engineer it and machine all the parts? No. But the definition of build does not mean said things... it means put together. Someone can build a house, but they dont have to design it, nor do they have to mill all the lumber from trees either..... DURRRRRR

There was a clear plastic V8 model that was larger and ran on a battery. But had the same excellent learning experience. Assembled and re- assembled many times. A gift from Santa.

That is so cool. I’d like to see one driving something along. Just watched a bloke power a pushbike to 32kph on a tiny single cylinder 2stroke engine, with just 2.5hp and 30k of revs.

Even if I had not found the video interesting, I would've upvoted & subscribed simply because of the absence of crappy EDM music or any music at all for that matter. The clicks, thuds and whrrrs is all the sound needed, it makes its own music.

Amazing. I was shocked to see the cam shafts and timing belt. And the tiny oil pump. But the glo plugs? So, its a RC engine with 8 tiny cylinders. Still cool though. Good for a paperweight and conversation piece

Clearly this video shows an amazing work of craftsmanship. And so as others ask was it a kit or did you craft it all. Having all the parts so well crafted would identify the amazing engineering and major expense in a one off. This amazing craftsmanship would not have been possible 30 years ago. I would question that factor. Regardless it’s shows what is possible in the micro world of amazing craftsmanship Nice. A well crafted video show too.

A fantastic piece of engineering, wonderful to see it all going together! My only criticism was in the use of a round dowel pin in a square keyway to locate the flywheel and starter gear on the crankshaft at 7:40 Minutes, not good engineering practice and would wear badly, otherwise, it's a 10 out of 10! 👍

crankshaft main bearings: should have started with the center and worked outwards, to ensure it isn't binding or bending. Like a head there is a certain order the bolts should be tightened - and loosened to ensure it is flat on the deck with no stress points. OH YEAH!!!! What'd the power and torque rating? What is the idle and redline? Specific (minimum) fuel consumption? With proper gearing (say 4.11 to 5:1) and a centrifugal clutch, would this power a 200~220 pound (with rider) bicycle, adult trike, or go-cart?

V8エンジンではないけど、このサイズの2気筒エンジンをアマゾンで買いました。到着が待ち遠しいけど、本物の自動車エンジンとほぼ同じなのでバルブの調整やクリアランスが難しそうです。タミヤの1/16スケールのトレーラーヘッドのエンジンにも使えそう加工や改良が必要ですが戦車にも使えそう
