Video resumen de una serie de 14 vídeos, en la que construyo desde cero un motor a gasolina boxer de 2 cilindros. Hoy finalizamos nuestro motor Boxer. Y lo hacemos a lo grande. Este ha sido un proyecto magnifico, con muchos dolores de cabeza pero un resultado final espectacular... Datos del motor: Motor Bóxer 4 tiempos, ciclo otto, 2 cilindros, 12,56cc, funcionamiento a gasolina o combustible glow.

Yeah, that's like $15,000 worth of labor right there (at least)... and the parts were $13.26. lol. (If I had a machine shop, I'd be doing pretty much the same thing. (edit: it would probably take me 700 days though).

Whoever taught this guy must be very proud. I moved from impressed to awestruck early on (when he machined the crank) and it just gets better and better. Loved the satisfying sound of perfectly machined parts clicking together and the minimal soundtrack is perfect. There is room for artistry in engineering and it is on full display here, well done.

@@CameronMcCreary no it doesn't run , it starts with the intake of the carburettor open to th max but he can't accelerate the engine , he says is a problem of design, he miscalculated the admission of air to the cylinders from the carburetor, basically the engine struggles for air to make a good combustion , it has no power nor acceleration, it just starts and is off after some time. He says he is self taught.

J'ai 60 ans et à la retraite. J'ai travaillé comme machiniste et opérateur N/C pendant 30 ans et cela me rappelle de bons souvenirs. Les gens n'ayant jamais fait ce métier ne peuvent comprendre le niveau que cela demande sur pleins d'aspects. Beau travail et j'aurais bien aimé avoir ton matériel chez moi pour m'amuser aussi.

Creo que lo de menos halla sido el problema del carburador. Todo el tiempo estuve impresionado con cuántos cálculos, cuánta presicion y cuantos procesos podían haber fallado. Lo único que se me ocurre decir es “El discípulo supera al maestro”, para quienes miráis estos tipos de trabajos sabéis a quien me refiero. Como técnico audiovisual es que está hasta bien rodado y editado. Qué maravilla de trabajo chaval, la RAE cuando creó las palabras Obsesión y Perfeccionista está claro que estaba viendo tu foto. No translation needed on that "WHOOP!" of joy when something you've worked on so hard and that fights against you all the way finally just WORKS!!! There is nothing like that feeling and the 700 hours (or 7000 hours) fades away and means nothing compared to that moment! Well done!
