I feel I'm at a similar point in my life, I've changed a lot this past year and through stopping drinking and taking narcotics, partying, chasing girls etc, I've realised the ' friendships' I had were solely based around this, and I actually had nothing in common with these people , and so now feel quite isolated and ready for a change. I've decided to go travelling again in Oct when my visa finishes here in Australia, and hope to find some meaning, and where I'm meant to be in life

Been in my head for so long overthinking life and forgetting to live it and will always believe that ignorance is a bliss knowing or trying to is a source of limitations.

I'm 72 and feel the same way. I have heard for many years that I have to pick a practice or religion but I haven't done that and don't regret it. I think if you seek to understand then you can tap into that transcendent unity. Ram Das felt like you needed to pick something and that's the one thing I disagreed with. He also said we learn the most from our relationships.

Your words really reflect what I’ve been feeling very intensely lately. I’ve lived in fear for so long, lived in the idea and image that others say I am and cater to the needs of others, make myself so small but I’m scared to be more, to be seen and heard. I walk around seeing through the illusion’s all around me but when it comes to breaking free of the illusion of who I think I am …it feels so thick and heavy. I just want to be free that’s all I’ve ever wanted.

I understand the need to question everything..once I started doing this I realized I had to escape a cult..then I did background checks on close friends and gained understanding on Narcissism and the different forms of it. I realized to my horror I had been buying into the lies and manipulations of others and gave up my free will to people that used my empathy to their advantage..for Their own personal gain..then I went back to how I was groomed and trained by family but yet as a musician and artist myself..they could never really get me to conform..my relationship with the sacred source or Holy Spirit Has always been a comfort on the path..so great to listen to your story of progress good luck..and take care.. SOOOOO many of us on this journey & it's world changing & changing the world! I'm so excited to be inside the movement & a small part of these big changes!! We're so broken here as a society but as on the micro, so the macro. The sorting, the clarity, the contrast, the loss & grief & despair is the dark before the commensurate bright to come! My micro experience was overcoming decades of numerous addictions, violent relationships & finally losing EVERYTHING I held as that which my value was enmeshed in (my child & being a mom, the 6 figure job, new vehicles, home destroyed & emptied through husband's violence & addictions & on & on, as these stories always do go... But today, I'm grateful for every slogging, heavy step. Every perceived failure. Every loss. Every tear. The gratitude & appreciation I find in every single moment of everyday is like living in magic! The manifestations, messages & synchronicities are like a movie script & just like in Hollywood, there's always a plot twist! My son & I are home now, for a year in March! I'm not sure how I came across your channel but I'm loving the testimonials and story-telling. It's something we all should do.... "Share" our version of this life experience...our aspect of the whole...our understanding of our "BE"ing. And I truly loved your "choice" after the journaling...think of how many choices you had at that NOW moment... some very dark... some "eh" and some "awesome"... I think going to Cambodia to meditate falls under "Awesome" :) And the same way "Source" is in everything...every blade of grass and speck of dirt... so are the "answers" we seek. I am so glad your videos began to show up in my feed. Our journeys are our own, but the same thing happened to me at precisely 37. The shallow validation ceased any sort of appeal. Stopped looking, fell in love, that passed, and it was so crushing. Feeling precisely that emotion, that my life's value shouldn't be determined by another. It was yet another blessing though. That life wasn't for me. Had I stayed, I would have placed my own life on the back burner. Again. Even after years spent consciously on a journey of awakening and awareness, things continue to shift and change and expand. Thank you for these perspectives. It helps.

One path is not for me either - my life is a continuing unfoldment and I like to glean from many different ways - for me the broader the better (I'm 65 and have been on my own path for many decades now - it doesnt end, there is no arrival. There's never a wrong path, there's never another path. That only exists in your conditioned mind. The path you choose IS the path you are on. For you it's the only path there can be no other.

I questioned and still question everything I believe. And it worked. All the way. Wanna know the first thing? That which most unwittingly call Love? It's just the principle Allowance. Simply the idea Yes, which is the only thing unconditional love could possibly be, or it would be conditional. The first condition to follow Yes is No, and in their interplay somewhere in the mean is your meaning. That's what meaning means. Purpose is another thing. I was 41 when I discovered the first principle. I'm now 58 and feeling younger, stronger and just a whole lot better than I did then, and I was a pretty fit and healthy tradie. You have the end, and the median,. and now the beginning of time to drop into your map, and a whole new world to explore just around the corner. Sure we're all different, but we all came from the same place, and we all work by the same logic. There really is only one way home. Just like there's only one way to my house. Down that road and up the driveway, passing all the same sights I saw and breaking all the self limiting rules I made on the way out. All you have to do is allow. There isn't anything simpler than that. Than doing nothing. Just understand, focus, thought, is on the whole disallowing and any adhesion to beliefs causes focus. Focus cases lag and lag puts us out of sync with the current moment so we cant catch pure current information but at best already translated and painted information slowed by other channels so that it arrives to us with the same degree of lag and thus impurity as that which caused our own delay. It's a perfect and incorruptible system. I could sit right here and write a whole novel, only to have scratched the surface of what I've learned in a relatively extremely short time. You got this. Ok, you're done. Next. ;)

Even having a bad life, at least you lived, even doing risky stuff. In my case, I never really had true friends, and never ever anyone has been in love with me. No one ever invited me to birthdays or parties, and at best, I was the backup "friend." I'm 31 now, 9and very little has changed. I really hope you the best, and please don't see it as me trying to be a bigger victim, just pointing out how bad it could have been. I am slowly trying to accept the wormwood of my life and stop caring so much for good. I never liked life so much, but that does not mean I hate life either, I'm just a side character in my own life. Probably autism or something. It is so tiresome and so disheartening to have wasted this lifetime.

I'm about yoga and learnt some Zen and Buddhisim books so I'd advise you to forget about "the enlightenment", because it can turn craziness. It is safe only for monks in the monastery and it's not so easy for the Western type of brain, you can just break your mind. Some meditation and hatha-yoga is OK, but not further into the Zen. Even simple but regular yoga can open this door when you are not sure if you're crazy or not, so be ready to special effects after doing it for years. Advantage: Yoga is very good for someone's health.

You are drawn to Ayahuasca? Why? You have to ask that question. Believe me, it’s not because it gets you “high”. Once that notion is realized, the real “journey” begins. You can then enter the “rabbit whole.” Things are not a coincidence…. It’s definitely not lunacy. Good luck
