YOU ARE NO FOOL...from a 70 year old grandma in the PNW!!! At 60 I sold my home in West Seattle and had a tiny home built for myself. I'm sure that people who didn't know me well also thought I was a "fool". Welk at nearing 70 I couldn't be happier...I live on a hobby farm along with 4 other tiny homes...we are a collective of old liberal crones and love our lives.! The fools are people who don't live lives thar are expected!!! If you are ever my way stop by for whiskey and a stunning view of Mt. Rainier.

Yes. Lean in.. This has long been my thought: in surfing, someone takes off on an impossible wave... and makes it . The crowd good wild ! And if they went and didn't make it ~ people would say they have bad judgment, was foolish. i didn't even realize i had a knack for living experimentally until someone used that as the reason to essentially expel me from my home in every sense of the word; ended up exiled ~ found new strength .. eventually healing, but the funny thing has been to see some who refuse to let go of their ability to belittle .. even more when it's out of context now, and makes no sense. I have come far, and they're still back there. Lean in !

My dear wife loved so deeply and and cared for so many others only to have them demean her and say bad things, but she kept on going, and when she got sick she tried living the best she could until she passed. That was two years ago and I still think of her each day and it makes me go a bit further, and here is what I think about you. You have so much love to give and the energy you put out shows what a kind and loving person you are, much like how my dear wife was, so if those other people try to put you down or demean what you do, just keep on on going with your life and live it the best way you can! As long as you can see the humor in whatever you do, you'll never be the fool. It's easier when you have friends to laugh alongside you, but no one should have any attention paid to them if they make someone else feel poorly for trying something new or unfamiliar. Admittedly, this is easier said than done. I have missed out on many experiences that there's a high probability I would have enjoyed. We can only push ourselves so far outside of our comfort zones too. If I'm being honest, it's why I'm going to the bus fair and doing the seminars. As I wait for my mom to pass, It's time to push myself and take charge of my own story. Just remember to laugh, and we'll all be okay.
