I heard a story about a little girl returning home from the family's sweet potato patch with a lot of sand in her hair and when her parents asked her how she got so much sand in her hair ; the child explained that " Chubaca " was digging up sweet potatoes and saw her and patted her on her head !!. 5his was in the 70s when the movie Star Wars was the rave , and the child having seen the movie mistook the "Bigfoot" appearing creature as the movie character ! , which makes the veracity of that story highly plausible.

Some of the biggest Critters you are likely to ever see in your back yard. Also, driving around in the UK we always took our old lady cat on holidays and she turned many a head by laying on the back shelf and looking out the window as we went wherever we were going. Other people had "Nodding Dogs" in their autos, we had a lively cat. She always came on holidays with us and was 23 1/2 actual years when she died.

The cat story is way too long, with so much unnecessary back story. I often wonder if these stories are real, because they seem to be written by very experienced authors. In fact, I have considered submittng a fictional story just to see if it would be accepted. I do enjoy the stories, and whereas some may well be true, but I don't believe all are.
