Their chicken tenders aren’t bad

I went by Dairy Queen last week to get a milkshake and their milkshake machine was down.

Whataburger: they put you on the drive-through when you are too stoned to work with customers on the front counter.

MAN I miss Whataburger. 😭And their fat straws!

I love their chicken, but I won't even go to Popeyes anymore. The wait is unbearable. And that is with no one in line. They never have any food up.

Never even got to try there blackened chicken sandwich cause they were always out of the chicken. 🙄

I will never forget going to Popeyes for a bucket of chicken and being told they were out of chicken… what you selling now then? Biscuits? Condiments? Napkins????

I hear by next winter the one in my town will have Mac n' cheese again.

For a short bit the ones in my town were called Star Hardees.

I grew up in Alaska so when we moved to Minnesota I was so confused why it was now called Hardee's and not Carl's Jr. 😂

I live in Oklahoma. Everything that used to be something else is now a Mexican restaurant.

In my hometown, it was a Pasquale's Pizza that shut down and proceeded to become like 10 straight failed restaurants before Krystal came in, tore the building down, killing it's voodoo and built on it's former parking lot. Only place that has lasted.

I have fond memories of a location from my childhood. I looked it up on google maps once and was confused. The roof was there, but it wasn’t a Pizza Hut. Instead, right next to it, was one of those modern looking buildings which actually was the Pizza Hut. So they literally wanted to update, but I guess were contractually obligated to not change the roof, so just just built next to it.

I haven't seen a taco bell and KFC in two different places in forever that this just makes perfect sense

Our Hardee's had a Taco Bar about 25 years ago. Oh and now that Hardee's is a LaundrOmat. Sad.

I've definitely asked myself how badly I really want that Avocado Bacon Burger or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit when I'm still waiting in linr 10 minutes after ordering, even though it's 1 am & there's only 2 cars in front of me.

I always used to go inside fast food joints cuz drive-thrus are a waste of gas, but fucking Covid forced me out of that. Now every Whataburger I've been to closes their dining room at 10, so when I want that late night fix I HAVE to go through that fucking drive-thru.

I work at chick fil a and the peach milkshake gun breaks so much. We're not allowed to say no to milkshakes if it's on the menu and we have ingredients, if it was year round it would be hellish.

I'm not sure, but it may be because Arizona Tea is the only brand that can actually use the name "Arnold Palmer" on products. Also, technically an Arnold Palmer is made with unsweetened tea. I'm sure if you order a "Sunjoy", Chick-fil-A will make it with their sweet tea, unless you specify differently.

My son works at Chick-Fil-A. The name “Arnold Palmer” is trademarked. CFA can’t use it without permission, or having to give royalties to the real Arnold Palmer. So they just made up a name.

@@rick_thunder They didn't have to put it on the menu at all. Most places that have tea and lemonade will know to mix them if you ask for an Arnold Palmer. The company doesn't actually have to use the name.

But the employees are not allowed to ever say “Arnold Palmer” because it would be trademark infringement. @@rick_thunder My point still stands. First of all, nobody actually cares whether or not someone says Arnold Palmer. Secondly, they could also say half tea half lemonade. Moral of story: There is nothing wrong with me being amused by the decision to call it Sunjoy.

We were in line for What-A -Burger in Destin, FL. After not moving at all for 20 minutes (no closer to even placing an order), we left and drove on down US Hwy 98 to Chick-fil-A. We were in and had our order within 10 minutes. They had roving teams taking orders from both lines, so it was much quicker.

I work at McDonald's part time, when you order any burger with a quarter meat you get park just the way it is. Also if its a big order.

@@Agentfirestarter Your local Popeyes workers are slacking, then. Chik-fil-a is alright but the cost for quality fails to compare, especially when just comparing the Chicken Sandwich. This is the most apt point of comparison, too, as Chik-fil-a's primary focus is as a chicken sandwich place so it's pathetic that their sandwich gets so easily blown out by Popeye's. I do prefer Chik-fil-a's macaroni but a single serving costs almost as much as buying a whole tray would be from the store. It's absurd.

I long ago gave up on dealing with the WB drive-thru life and now pop inside to order mine to-go from the counter. They have it out to me in less than 5 minutes every time at this point, it feels like a cheat code.

@@bozimmerman Nah nah... the REAL problems started with Covid. All Whataburgers used to have their dining room open 24 hours. Now as far as I know they're only open till 10. Now if you want that satisfying fix after a night of partying on 6th st or Rainey st, you HAVE to wait in that stupid ass line. If you don't recognize those locations, you're a redneck backwater Texan (or from one of those random states that has Whataburger now).
