When I was in high school, I had a project where I had to retell the story of a Shakespeare play in comic form. I named the female lead in my parody after my crush (thankfully not in the class) and accidentally referred to the main character in first person while presenting in front of the whole class. That shit literally haunts me all the time. Tho I realize it's stupid now because none of those people matter to me any more and I'm dating the best girl in the world.

A lot of what people call talent is actually the result of many failures and countless hours of hard work. Figure out something you want to do and spend a long time (a few years minimum) doing it, and you too can have talent ;) Even if someone else more “talented” than you theoretically could have improved faster than you, who gives a shit? That’s just your brain playing games with you. Stick to what you want to do and you can get good.

I think most people struggle with the paranoia of feeling like they aren't good enough friends to their friends. I always feared I was kind of an outsider in my group of friends. During the pandemic, doing online school, I didn't hang out with anyone, and I talked to one of them, once. For months, I just secluded myself. But a few days ago, I got a message in our discord server and all 8 of us got together and played Among Us online. I was the last to join the call, but when I did they all welcomed me and asked where the fuck I had been lol. Made me feel a lot better actually. So basically, don't trust your self-hating subconscious. It's not very accurate. Your friends _do_ value you (if they don't, they're not real friends) and shutting yourself off from them because you think they don't like you is really just you forcing yourself into the very situation you're afraid of. The more you shut yourself off, the more you make your fears come true, as your friends will view you as being distant and not liking _them._ Go talk to your friends! It's a 2 way street.
@daltonmiller5590
@daltonmiller5590 3 роки тому
@@AbandonedVoid Everything is all in our heads, isn't it? We may not even exist; we may just be a simulation, our brains creating fake stimuli to make us believe we're living something we're not. Anyways, my point is this: if you have a paranoia disorder, that's just in your head too. Whether we're thinking we're paranoid, or we really are paranoid, it's all in our heads. Now of course, that doesn't mean you can just make the paranoia stop. Maybe with therapy, idk. But the best you can removed the paranoia of being a bad friend is to realize why you might be a bad friend and fix it. Try to pretend you _are_ your friends, or people you want to be your friends, or literally just anyone at all, and think of what they would want from a relationship with you. They would want you to be kind, be interested in the stories they tell you, to hang out with them, to know that you care about them, to help them if they're in dire need. And hopefully, they will do these same things back to you if you do these things for them. That's what a relationship is. A social bond of mutual support and companionship. If people are leaving you, that's a serious issue. I've fallen out with friends, and it sucks, and it's not that crazy, it's pretty normal, so don't worry. But it is a serious issue nonetheless. It means there was a compatibility problem with your personalities, and most likely, someone is emotionally immature or unstable, and the other person couldn't deal with it. If emotionally unstable/immature person is you, that's ok. This video: (ukposts.info/have/v-deo/rKporq6fcHiX0Ks.html) talks about emotional maturity and I thought it was nice. Some lucky people learn it from their parents and by having healthy relationships. Others learn it from the more unfortunate life experience. Now you can't just sulk in the fact that your life is hard. Now I know that may sound rude, especially considering the fact that you are literally starving and you almost died, twice. Dude that is fucked. But in order to fix your relationships with people, you need to fix yourself first. So first, get healthy. So please my dude find a job, even if it doesn't pay very much, beg every fast food chain in your location and do an interview if they're hiring. Get some money, and eat. If your city/country is a shithole, especially now with the virus, if you can, travel somewhere better. Find some work. Get money. Work. Eat. Live. Repeat. In 6 months, it's predicted most developed and developing nations will be mostly vaccinated. Lockdowns will hopefully end, and life can return to somewhat normalcy. Try to find a better job if you can. Practice good hygiene. If you have a stable source of food now, and malnutrition isn't an issue, try exercising. If the gyms near you require money, don't go. Just do it old fashioned. Do situps, do pushups, do jumping jacks, run a little. You'll notice improvement after about a month or two, so be patient and keep at it. That's what I'm trying to do now. Once you look good, you'll feel good too. It's psychology. With life back to normal, hopefully you can go back to school, go back to your old job, go back to your hobbies, whatever. This will put you back in a social setting and you can talk to and meet new people, maybe even go on some dates. Remember to not make the relationship all about you, try to be emotionally mature, try to really care for the other people in your relationships. And be there. Don't leave them hanging, even if you think they don't like you. Remember it's probably just the paranoia. As long as you're kind to them and you care, they will like you. I mean, why wouldn't they? Be there. The more (quality) time you spend with them, the better friends you'll become. That's really all you have to do. Good luck my dude. Sorry this turned into a short novel lol.

Whenever I see an ex girlfriend in a dream they tell me off. It's like "Are you dreaming about me AGAIN?" and sometimes I apologise then try to think of something else. I had another one where I was 'waking up' in the dream but realised that it wasn't my bedroom, so I realised I must be dreaming.

See... for me, I only dream about the worst ones. And in the dream timeline, that all still happened. But we're happily going on like it never did and there is a tiiiiny little piece of me that knows exactly what's going on that's screaming "GET US OUTTA HEEERE! DO NOT GO INTO THE LIIIIIGHT!" And then, I usually wake up sweating, but feeling free as a bird. It's like having those nightmares where you're not only late for school, but you're only wearing that pair of boxers that always lets your peepee hang out and you wake up so damned excited that school is never going to be a part of your life again.
