Thespian Trent deserves all the Oscars.

Trent really is a player character in this one. NPCs drop what they are doing to give him an enthusiastic greeting, he is able to immediately start sleeping for exactly 8 hours and wake up completely energized, while the NPCs who he initiated dialogue with wait that whole time just so that they can complain about it to him when he finally wakes up.

I love this low stakes, low stimulation and yet highly engaging content. I dont feel like someone has my attention in a chokehold, I just feel like im hanging out with the weirdo friends. Thank you Joel

Late comment but I hope Joel sees it: I feel like you really have hit your stride. That's probably obvious given the view counts, but almost every recent video has been like music. You're making content that is wholly unique and fun. I feel like your earlier short work was always you (and all the others), so authentic, but not quite as refined, well-paced or executed as it is now. This is probably my favorite short you've made. It's above what words can describe but something about the pacing and tone gives it this feeling that the next thing that happens is always off-beat from whatever was going on before. And Trent's playing a style of character he doesn't normally play and killing it. It's all so good, great job man. You're one of the most original, authentic, and wholesome content creators to come out of the last few years.
