Probably I will go with mi max 3 4/64 GB but I will also check honor note 10.I know it's quite more expensive but it's overall a better phone, at least on paper and from an unboxing I just saw. Your reviews are very comprehensive, for that Thank You. I'm curious, you mentioned that the mi max 3 supports micro sd cards up to 256 GB storage capacity, does it support cards formatted in the exFAT format?

A really good follow up review that unfortunatelly is too good to afford to ignore. So I have to rethink cause I had thought that I could or would skip that Max 3 and stay with the Max 2 for the better useable aspect ratio cause I hate this 18:9 ratio or what it is really: the BUNKER view in horizontal mode you are sitting in a bunker with a small hight reduced by status bar . You can not really use the Mi Max or Remdi 5+ or other 18:9 phones in horizontal mode to surf cause you have that status bar and the www input line which has even to be higher for inputs while the rest of the page is getting smaller or at least the rest of the view on the page below url adress line has become a tiny bunker view slot. I hate it, hate it ... the system becomes far more inefficient than it could be. We will 8 inch phones cause they might also add more inch while staying at the width for smaller hands or so. Unfortunatelly I personall will have to stay in "chris mode" using a second phone, also a Samsung but a Note for 2 reasons: S pen efficient annotation and steering advantages becuase S Pen is far more accurate while using or typing keys cause you see a lot more of the screen/keyboard and the 3 to 4 or whatever apsect ratio Samsung Note 5 has. I even bought a new , used one Note after I crashed my Note 4 unfortunatelly. So your follow up review is amazing regarding the major points of improvement (camera, processor power, audio / mic, display, phone call quality) cause I had been pretty sure to stay with my Mi Max 2 while just reecently starting to test a Redmi 5+ . And I personally think the Redmi 5+ 4 / 64 GB is also lagging with gestures and while using nova launcher. Long night I assume to make a decision to order - or not.

this is probably a really stupid question,,, but at 9:14 does that little “watermark” thingy in the left bottom stay on the photos forever? cuz ive seen it multiple times and i wondered what it was and if you can like “delete” it from the pictures

I owned Max 1 but broke it, wasn't thrilled about 2, so I switched to Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra, which should have been updated to Oreo, but they dropped it, so I was waiting for 3. I love xiaomi, miUI and the SN 636 it's interesting, as well as 6gb ram...but I'm not convinced if I should get back to Max 3 or stick with ZF3U, which has a fantastic camera, with OIS and other bells and whistles. As a pro, what would you do? I'm tempted and the blue one is really cool...

Great review videos as always... My main concern is no Netflix! Understand it wont support full HD, but are you unable to download it, and if you can, what's the video quality like? I had Mi A1, Huawei Mate 9 and Pixel 2XL - I watch a lot of Netflix - can't say that the quality on the Mi A1 or Mate 9 was noticeably less than on my pixel. But obviously their screens are not 6.9 inches, so I'm wondering if Netflix is available and if it is only 480p - is that watchable or poor?

am i right in thinking you like this phone if it is now the one you use as your main phone ?, it seems to me there is very little compromises in the Mi Max 3, NO NOTCH big battery, Energy efficient ROM, big screen, type C connector, front speaker, Stabilized video, super quick auto focus, 4GB ram 64 GB storage, i am using a Redmi Note 4X China version without Band 20 and it spoils the phone, i think i am going for the Mi Max 3 at around £180 from Ali Express, the Mi Max 4 is due soon but i can't wait any longer, Hopefully Xiaomi have fixed and issues with this phone with updates, i love the detail of your videos keep up the fantastic work, i have subscribed and watch all your ads to help you out.

One question, I've had the last 2 Mi Max's (1 and the 2) and am going to buy this one, just wondering whether you think its worth spending the extra money getting the 6gb/128gb version?
