No. They speak up. But the news is rarely interested in covering it. Hateful idiots are more entertaining. Plus, progressive Christians tend to also actually believe in our country's idea of separation of church and state. Does Biden go around bragging about his faith? No. But he's been practicing his faith for decades. Trump is the one who is bringing his faith into politics. Likewise, fundamentalists will preach about politics in their churches. But many progressive churches believe the church shouldn't be involved in politics. We don't allow the American flag in our sanctuary. We are pro America, but when we enter the sanctuary we enter as children of God, not as part of any country or clan. (Well, on July 4th, some will wear patriotic ties or red white and blue clothing...but like I said, we aren't anti America.)
