They KNOW a large percentage of simmers love removing ladders from swimming pools etc. They add ✨quirky deaths✨ every other pack. Surely they should know their audience would want to do a onceler and destroy the world?

This would have been a great pack to start adding things like asthma, a sim pops out an inhaler every once in a while, an option to do it more while outside in an industrial area... I also wish you could pause changes instead of a yes or no approach to the pack. Ya know? It's a shame it's so hard to keep up an industrial footprint, the community seems to auto clean itself with the voting.

It's so funny that they added auroras for eco friendly world - considering in real life, if aurora showed in any other place in the world it would mean either that Sun is having more fun, or someone just exploded atomic bomb in higher atmosphere in your neighbourhood.

That's a problem with the Sims 4. A potentially interesting feature is ruined by difficulty level. When will developers learn that their audience isn't little babies that's gonna cry if everything goes wrong? I want some actual challenge. The industrial level must be 3x easier to get. It kinda reminds me Parenthood character values, where you're supposed to grind to get both negative and positive traits. That's not how it works. Negative traits must be easier to get because it makes more sense.

The lots in the "industrial" neighborhood have tons of green objects and wall paper, etc, so it becomes neutral very quickly. To keep in industrial you have to go in and replace the green windows l, delete the plants, etc

Can we talk about how the editing today just made this. I was on the edge of my seat the who time.

First of all: this is without a doubt your finest work with regard to editing! Magnificent Second of all: I agree with you regarding the working towards maintains the green status rather than having the eco thing basically evolve on its own. I noticed in James let’s play that the footprint of the harbor went from industrial to neutral in only one sims day, when his sim didn’t even have any eco promoting items or anything, he was basically just living in the world and dumpster diving. If it evolves into green that easily there’s barely any point to try and work towards it, because it’ll get there on its own, regardless of what you do

"There's no repercussion, because the world is already going that way anyway..." This is like my main issue with all these new sims 4 worlds where you can have a hand in altering it! Its not like the sims 3 into the future, where you could actively work and had to put in work to let the world change either way. Its always moving towards this friendly perfect eco-utopia regardless, in Island living and now in this too. Its not that, that's bad, but it does eliminate the actual feeling of being able to change the world either way. Kinda just makes it feel either neutral, or easy breezy to just get the fun happy good life....but granted, that does basically fit perfectly into the whole mass market appeal to all level of casual player and beyond that EA has going for it.

Honestly is anyone surprised that there’s no challenge to the Sims even in a challenge based expansion on the series. Like, there’s a reason why building seems to be more popular than actually playing the game at this point. 🤷🏾‍♀️ In my opinion, the Sims team failed the Sims community with this generation. First, they gave us a beta game instead of the completed game. Second, we’re like 2/3 the way through this generation and gameplay is still lacking.
