Lot's of progress today on the plumbing. Getting that bathroom done will certainly make it livable even with other things not done. Loved seeing another video.

PURE AWESOMENESS GUYS !! ITS SHAPING UP GOOD YOUR WORK IS IMPECCABLE !!

When you run water to RV, always use white or blue potable water hose. For new system, run a tank or two to purge lines. When you finally buy potable hose, buy the type with built in heated coils. No freeze ups!
@karenriggle54352 роки тому
I would maybe suggest a one-way valve to keep water from bouncing back up the lines on rough roads

Very thrilled to see you and how very meticulous your work is.very gifted in your preciseness and thorough technique with each endeavor you take. Watching the work putting your home together and how much there is in hours to each detailed project you have to do, makes your viewers see this isn't easy does it, throw your suitcases in the bus and let go howdy doody..but for a man with a family of four and his job to take care of his family, as he builds their home on wheels, is very supreme to watch. Oh, you look good in the maroon t- shirt, a good color with your color tones..( threw that in as extra) lol.

As a school bus mechanic, the drain pipe at the rear axel will probably be crushed when hitting bumps. Switch it to a hose. Giving you the flex, you'll probably need. The tank you installed in the rear might bottom out on parking lots, or street corners. Might need to move it forward as much as possible.
@tigerspook12 роки тому
Please! Always wear safety glasses whilst under your bus, just one speck of rust could cost you the sight in an eye,... And yes! sadly I have seen it happen to someone,..

The cloudy water is most likely just air. Especially using new everything. The pump just aerates the water. Plus, add a filter to the water. I’d do one for filtering into tank and after pump.

I drive a school bus for a living. As rough as they ride, I might suggest you install some fernco fittings strategically in you drain system to give some flexibility in the more rigid PVC. As the bus frame and body torque up on turns etc., this might save you a crack in your drain lines. Not trying to tell you what to do. Just a suggestion from the days when I pulled a fifth wheel. The build is looking fantastic!

Actually, yeah that’s a really good idea!!!

Great Videos. I just watched all 24 in one sitting. My wife and I are talking and thinking about building one with our two kids. Are you worried about the grey water tank and drain pipes freezing? I got a bunch more Questions coming.

Do you plan on going into the mountains or the cold country? The gray/black water may freeze in the pipes when it gets below freezing. I've seen lines wrapped around water pipes etc that supply some heat to keep the plumbing flowing in the colder weather. Just a thought.
@andrewmadara55752 роки тому
Any idea on what that cost all together? Love the videos by the way thanks

If you park on a hill facing down hill, will water flow up out of your sink drain?
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
The tank outside would have to be above our sink. The bus would need to be sitting at 45 degrees for that to happen 😂

We recently had our basement flood due to the sewer backing up and our basement toilet reversing direction. Not a good time, would not recommend it. We've considered putting in a sewer shut off valve in our system. I know nothing about plumbing or busses... or plumbing busses. But I know I don't enjoy backwards toilets.

@@maximillianzorn6085 all good point. Hadn’t considered it until you said that

If you install say a 25 Gallon water tank just for the shower only and a 3 -stage filter system and an ultraviolet water disinfection system you can reuse the shower water over and over. many people use this type of system all over the world. I know it sounds disgusting but do your research your family can each take a shower every day with pure clean water and only having to replace a slight bit of water, there is video`s on UKposts on this subject.
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
I’ve seen that before. Yeah I’d love to do that.
@stangiles20012 роки тому
There is a reason on why not to have a propane water heater in bedroom ? Oh waking up dead? Kitchen wall would have been sensible choice . Also kids bunks? Needs some sort of ventilation. Got to think of safety , rather than training everything up and looking pretty.
