Hey I have a question about the cx plus, are they loud and comfortable for small ears? Because I bought the sennheiser momentum tw2 a few months back and they hurt my ears after 30 minutes of use and the volume was way to low, at max the volume sounded like if it was at 60-70 percent

@@nibbax7772 the CX Plus are considerably smaller and more comfortable for smaller ears than the Momentum, yes. Bluetooth earbuds are inherently quieter than wired, their volume can be sufficient for some but not others, it can also depend on the music. Older music is mastered at a much lower level than stuff from the past couple decades, so it can be less optimal for Bluetooth earbuds if you want a louder response. - Luke

friends, which of these two models is better, the sound is resistant to sweat and water, and the noise canceling feature is the best.

CX PLUS ARE SMALLER - I just got them in and put a caliper on them versus the CX400BT and CX... The plus are 1.5mm less tall in height, doesn't sound like a lot but they are much more comfortable for long sessions than the previous CX. No review has stated this yet so please pin this comment. This was my first wireless earphone, so I picked the M2. At first, I used the EQ on the app, but I highy recommend to turn off the EQ in the Music App (apple) and turn the Sennheiser app EQ to "Neutral". This eliminates processing, which really clears up the sound. They're very bassy, with a top-range treble extension, which is satisfying and does the job for the type of casual earbud. They leave me wanting more resolution, if I wanted this sound I could have chosen Bose, Sony, etc.

I got the CX buds. I LOVED the way they sounded and felt in my ears but the right bud stopped producing sound after about 2 months of use. I got the beats studio buds since and they hold up but they don't sound anywhere near as good. Trying to figure which to get next.

I have the cx true wireless. Passive noise canceling is great for most everyday noise. They do have a great sound! Volume is a bit low I find. If you are a traveler like me they do nothing for engine noise on the plane.

Yes Bluetooth will always have inferior volume to wired sadly, at least for now. Engine noise is quite hard to tackle, some over ears may be better for that than earbuds. I haven't had a chance to test these particular models on a plane unfortunately, though I've found most noise cancelling earbuds can do a good enough job with it, it's mostly that some types of music/ sound mask the remaining background noise better than others of course. - Luke

I learned numerous details here that other videos that either did not make clear or didn't cover at all. I've never owned or used a pair of Bluetooth ear buds so am vacuuming up as much info as I can as I am waiting to take delivery on the base model CX. After watching many videos on these Sennies I still had no grasp of the charge time, play time, fully charged case or the quick charge; things covered here quite thoroughly and easy to understand. I want to use my quick charge type C phone brick instead having to plug in charger included. The buds are not quick charge so does anybody know if I could damage them by using the fast charger?

what do you think about the momentum 2 's white noise issue? Is it still presenting? is there some firmware update to eliminate that issue? i rly want to buy it, but im afraid i 'd hear the white noise and it'd bother me while using the momentum 2. also my ear is quite small, so maybe the cx plus would be a better choice because of the smallest size of these three. im listening mainly techno, where every little detail is important to truly enjoy the genre. i have been reading and listening many reviews but still doesnt found the right one, thats why im so sad about the white noise issue with the momentum 2.

Get the sony xb700 , zero white noise, amazing sub bass ,amazing mids and highs , one of the most complete sound I ever heard and I have seenheiser hd660s, akg k712pro, seenheiser hd8dj , skullcandy crushers evo , and other headphones ,I'm not a newbie , trust me the sony xb700 are gold

Previously owned the cx400bt s do to the left ear bug going out Sennheiser upgraded me with the CX plus through the warranty so I would say no although the CX plus is better in other areas not in sound

Airpods Pro do sound nice but lack punchy bass if listening to rock or edm. They are great for classical/ movie soundtracks. Sennheiser to me (I have to cx400bt) sound the best but I have had to send two sets back for repair/replacement as the right earbud stopped producing sound. They are sending me the cx+ as a replacement

M2's if your after audio.the noise cancelling and call quality is good the sound excellent. I have had these for almost 18 months and use them everyday for calls and music. No problems at all.

@@cjcairns8628 Currently my left earbud on the CX Wireless product doesn't store any charge the case gives thus I am probably gonna send them for repair as refunding them would mean losing out on the £60 deal I got them for on Prime Day. Meaning I only got them a week or two ago lol. Whadduya think?

But how is the mic quality of the CX plus? I don't think the Momentum 3's are coming out this year. You can buy the Momentum 2 for $199.99 at Best Buy.

Yes I just saw the price drop, that makes them quite attractive compared to the CX Plus, at which point you'd mostly want to consider size and looks when deciding between them. I found the mic quality on both to be just about the same. - Luke

Most reviews say the cx and cx plus sound identical except for active noise cancellation but you say the plus sounds more plus. Can anyone else confirm this. I don't care about active noise cancellation.

@@adrianhazzard6665 Momentum 2s are on sale 100.00 off, you can get them for 200 which is 20.00 more than the CX Plus, so go with the momentum 2s, they are a little better.

Because Sony moved the manufacturer to Malaysia, the quality control was not good. I replacement four on Amazon and finally found one with perfect sound quality and the link was not interrupted. Sennheiser's production plant is still in mainland China, and the quality is guaranteed. At present, only companies that are still producing in China have quality assurance. For example, Philips’ new toothbrushes are produced in Mexico,Their batteries always have problems. If Amazon can replace it for you several times, then you can keep trying and find the perfect one. A perfect Sony xm4 earbuds its sound quality is better than HIFI headset, surpassing all Bluetooth headsets on the market now 2021. You know I have UE18pro. Just because sony is no longer produced in China, you may only choose one of the four with good quality.

I had a pair of CX Plus but I had to sell them because when I was talking on the phone with them I could not deactivate hear trough ... I just could not use them when talking on the phone, I was hearing everything from outside trough it's microphone ...

Review seems a little half done No Bluetooth comparisons. One has the newer standard, no ANC comparisons. Lots of word salad in this review but light on substance
