Omg literally. I used to watch the trailers on repeat and I literally couldn’t even sleep I was so excited. I don’t even play the game anymore, except for an hour every so often to use CAS. But I only use CAS. So much wasted potential in this game.

I'm pretty much enjoying it now, in 2020 better than 2016 when I first bought the game. The ridiculous high price and the awful reviews prevent me from buying it in 2014. They had improved lots of things, specially with all the cheats and stuff. Still missing stuff from TS3 tho.

Sims in trailer are probably actors that were animated, note pure program code. That's why it feels different.

Yeah, but they were created for the trailer. Computer animation in the film industry is a lot better and more advanced than video games, also the sims franchise never had swaying hair. The hair is glued to the shoulders and back. It’s designed that way because it’s easier and the hair adjusts with the customization in game.

Christopher James Willington the sims 2 had swaying hair, in CAS anyway. I forget if the hair physics carries in to gameplay

DaniBird it does though, the animations are higher quality because they can do more with film animation. Video games are slowly just getting to the level that the cgi in the film industry is at. Also this trailer came out in 2013, the game came out in 2014. Video games were shit in the animation department back then compared to what they are now.
