I think you should add realistic weather and if it is raining, your sim will feel down depending on their traits. If they are childish, when it snows they get excited.

Long rant alert. I'm honestly glad they went for this type of graphic style. Can you imagine the kind of machine-destroyer this game would be if they went for ultra-realistic graphics? The sleek cartoon-like style has been a very popular thing lately in a lot of games, and I honestly don't mind it. The fact that it'll run better on most computers is also a huge plus, because I've heard even the beefiest computers experience lag when running Sims 3 + all expansions. Besides, it doesn't even look as bad as a lot of you guys are making it seem. The sims look MUCH better than the ones in Sims 3, where most of the time I had to rely on all kinds of mods to make my sims actually look better, but the Create-A-Sim seems so much more versatile now, which makes me uber excited. In Sims 3 a lot of my sims ended up looking the same, but I think I could spend hours and hours creating all sorts of different sims in this one. Granted they still didn't add height, which kinda bugged me, but they made that choice for a valid reason and I'll eventually get over it. As far as realism outside of graphics goes, I dunno about you guys but the point of games for me is to escape reality, and I always had fun with The Sims in particular BECAUSE of all the unrealistic and kooky shenanigans you can do and the type of sims you can create. If it was too much like real life then what's the point? I think you guys shouldn't judge too soon or judge just based on graphics alone. From everything we've seen in the game so far, it's all still at an early stage. There's a LOT the developers didn't show us, and I'm pretty sure the end product will make up for it. That was really long and most of you'll probably tl;dr it but eh. Had to get it off my chest. I'm certainly quite damn excited for this game, though.

I love how people claim to be Sims fans then proceed to bash the new release which they know almost nothing about yet. Personally I think it looks really promising and can not WAIT for it to be released!

I personally like the more cartoon-y style. The Sims would loose it's game-atmosphere if it looked too realistic.

it would be great if you could buy a pack which lets you online so you and all your friends sims could talk and go to school together or even fall in love, you could see each other homes and everything also live of the same street. I also think that when you go into a public lot you should be able to see what you are doing and control your sim such as school.You should also be able to type what you want to tell your friends what you want so you can talk or even plug a microphone into the computer and talk to each other via microphone.

TheSims Not to be rude, but you need to add Pets&Seasons into the base game. Im sick and tired of buying those for every Sims game I get! Dont get me wrong, you guys should have expansions, but unique ones like supernatural and into the future. But the basic expansions like Pets, Seasons, Generations, Late Night, World Adventures, and University all are part of real life and therefore should be in the Sims 4. Its okay to add stuff packs and unique expansions.expansions. I'm not the only one... I know hundreds or even thousands of people agree with me. Even ask my UKposts famous friend *****

I love the new style, you can give them more personality. They may not look so real, but they do seem to act more real. Also, the body types are more realistic.

I honestly don't care about graphics. In fact, I'd prefer to have worse graphics than amazing graphics that require an expensive computer. All I really care about is that EA will be less cheap with TS4. I think that expansion packs like Seasons, Generations, and Ambitions should have been included in the base game. It makes sense to pay extra for University and World Adventures, but I believe that things like weather and interactive jobs should have came with the base game.

I never had consider to open a channel,but a lot of things happen and i change my opinion!One of them was the Quxxn dead.I had start watching her videos until she had release her 5th video. I was addicted to her channel,and everyday i swear god to upload new vids.She was the reason that i buy a lot of Sims games that i haven't decide to buy and a lot of things from sims store.I never expect this bad ending but that's the bad game of life.So now i want to make this channel 4 u as a big THANK U

sims are literally dumber than sims in ts2. i do like the idea of emotion system but it’s very lacking when the sims have no depth to their characters. if ts2 had the emotion system it would be too powerful i kinda feel sad for the simmers who watched this and got very excited for the game only to be VERY disappointed later

Way way way way way too soon after The Sims 3. These guys need to get a hold of themselves and realise that The Sims has been going downhill for years, and from what I just saw it's going to continue to do that. I'm a huge sims fan, and I seriously miss the days of Sims 2 when it was still magical and genuinely interesting. The Sims 3 was a disaster, I was hoping that with Maxis' return to Sims 4 it might just be enough to reboot the once amazing series... but it doesn't look that way, RIP Sims. I loved you :(

Your wish will likely be granted. After the first 3 or 4 expansions are released, they usually do offer a bundle version which includes the base game together with a few expansions. There is a method to the way they do things. If they waited to release it until they had made some expansions for it, not only would the release date would be pushed waaaay back, but there would be more bugs. Releasing in installments gives them the chance to work out bugs and polish the games more.

This looks pretty ugly. Korean mmorpgs have better looking character customization. Honestly, I am a fan of the sims franchise but this will fail miserably. It looks geared toward children. How about your original fan base that have grown up playing the sims? With today's technology and engines I expect realistic characters. I expect skin that shimmers slightly when you rotate your sims. I expect realistic hair physics. It is quite obvious that the team that brought the sims 2 has moved on to other games. EA put a novice beginner team on sims 4.

Honestly, i wish some of those walk styles were never changed. They are so much more natural and i love them. Especially the one where he's sad, that one looked great!

Sims 4 has brought back the curiosity in me and now I cant wait for it to come out... I cant wait to see Sims 4 Pets come out and I hope it is the first one out of all the expansion packs that we all know that they will be making! I love these ideas you came up with, I hope they release the more realistic expansion packers sooner then they usually do. More interaction with your teen sims with school and such would be nice. I also hope they will automatically have seasons in it. I didn't like having to spend $40 for it. It would be awesome if they added chinese takeout like they did in the sims 2 university pack. I loved your ideas though. :) ( sorry my comment was sort of scattered haha. )
