There are opinions of Xiaxue in the past or recent that I might disagree but I've never hated her. I love her for being REAL. Honestly, this video is the first in a very long time that I truly appreciate from the Singapore UKposts Community. Sure, looking at the length of the video was a turn off as personally I do not have the focus and patience to sit through a 20 minute long video talking about opinions of a issue that i truly don't care about. But what made this video great was how it directly corresponds to what many people think about society these days but could not find a way to express it or how it changes the mindset of a person. I belong to the first group of people who personally thought about this issue but don't have a person i could share that thought with. That thought would be how society is truly going on a dangerous path. Let's start with the social media platform I used the most, Twitter. When i was in Secondary school about 6 years back, I started using twitter due to more and more cool kids using it (come on, that's how most people get hooked onto shit). Back then, I was younger and the great thing about youth is you don't think before you speak and honestly, don't care about the consequences of the things you say. I was able to post my feelings and opinions of myself and the people in my life freely. I mean isn't that the point of a social media platform, to share your opinions with others. But as i grew older, i started noticing more and more people shaming other's opinions for attention. I then knew that if i continued what i was doing. I would end up as one of the victims in the future. Thus, i started tweeting lesser and lesser and found that the community totally destroyed the point of twitter. One of the examples i would like to raise is how more and more young teens are starting to get on social media. Being young like a said before, actions before thought. This leads to socially unacceptable things said. And then, this is where assholes come in and start to screenshot their tweets and posting some dick comments about how they weren't such problematic shitholes when they were younger. I mean like fuck, who cares about how you were when you are younger. Does arguing with people half your age then posting it on your social media make you a better person now? From my opinion, you are using the opinions of majority to stomp on the opinions and thoughts of a kid. Like what the fuck man. At this point, it is not even about how sensitive a person is, it is more about stepping on a person(a kid no less) to further attract attention for yourself. Attracting attention is not bad thing, people who know me yeah knows i like attention but fuck, i dont think that is a proper way of doing that. Society is moving towards a dangerous direction. But i don't think posting this video would have any impact on the path it is moving along but thank fking god i finally have someone with opinions so similar to mine and it feels great not to feel so alone talking about this issue. I would just like to say great video and I personally would like more videos like this. Thank you
