I quitted instagram and I'm happier than before.

I think it's very difficult to figure that out since there are companies that offer a natrual follower growth and are not so easy to detect by instagram. It costs more. They even, even out the likes/comments to follower ratio. It's crazy. I know a lot of teenagers buy followers nowadays. They have like three pictures and tenthousand followers and maybe six comments on each picture. Yeah my ass. There are so many better things to spend money on. LOL

Don't worry about the drop Xiaxue, you'll always be my favorite blogger and youtuber. I just can't get enough of your honesty, creativity and your humor!! Also very surprised to see Yutakis probably buy followers since Miyake's looks generally steady, I thought those ''twinnies'' seemed shady. Personally, I feel that Cheesie is full of shit. In a bid to prove her innocence, she claimed that she was unaware that the system was following people for her. But how can it possibly be? Guys, im sorry to say this, but im v disappointed in bongqiuqiu, followed her since I started following xiaxue years back. Sad thing is, bongqiuqiu started blocking ig accounts that doesnt really take side her (in instagram) . All I did was to comment on xiaxue's ig post about how she is just doing her job. Why is there so much commotion, esp frm bongqiuqiu 's side. Then I got blocked by bongqiuqiu on instagram. Apparently, she is so free to scroll thru xx's post to find people who doesnt side her, then block them. There are many others that faced the same issue. Alot of many other genuine accounts kena the same shit too. So to say, bongqiuqiu blocks away anyone that doesnt side her, so to create the false img as if everyone loves her. I hav no respect for her at all frm this point on. It is as if we have no freedom of speech at all! And advertisers lookin at this, pls bring this to consideration when shortlisting influencers. She definitely has attitude problem.

Dawn Yang follow/unfollowed me at least 4 times. I was shocked at first but then I realised what she was trying to do.

Actually I don't know why people are so upset about the expose. I mean people will know that you bought followers etc, I mean you had it coming if you did. BUT it is also highly unlikely that clients or businesses will just judge you based on this video anws..... like QQ going on on INSTA about how you can't do that to your friends--- XX wasn't even JUST firing at Cheeserland. There were many people who did it and it is not even a real verdict. They were ANALYSING graphs and deduced that it's 'LIKELY' that they bought followers, and talking about it as if they bought followers.

As I get older and have a life of my own, I don't follow people as much online. But I still check in with people I like now and then. With you, I'd watch every video you posted because it was very relaxing and funny, but I got very impatient waiting for a new one, even though you have a life and the best videos come from the heart and not from a timetable. So now I'm watching what I missed, but I won't get frustrated because I have a life too.

despite being called Singapore's most prolific food blogger, i think *Brad Lau* ( *@LadyIronChef* ) has bought a good amount of followers. the entire year of 2015 just doesn't look right (despite the areas of adjustment/correction). we also don't know what his graph of followers looks like before 2014. the biggest sign that he has fake followers is his *Engagement Rate* (aka follower engagement percentage). regardless of social media platform, most people (famous or not) get around 5% engagement from their posts. there's obviously fluctuations, but a good rule of thumb is that: anywhere above *7%* = amazing | around *5%* = good | around *3%* = OK, but maybe potential issues | around *1%* = FAKE ACCOUNTS as of now, *LadyIronChef* has almost 635,000 followers; however, the most recent posts have only 1,000 - 2,000 likes. looking at posts from only 2018, some are as low as 700 likes!!! for a person to have over 3/5 of a *MILLION* followers, yet only get an average of 1,000 likes just *SCREAMS* fake followers. using a generous average of 2,00 likes for the posts from 2018, his engagement rate is an AWFUL *0.315%* !!! the math works for all the other fake accounts. just for comparison sake, when you guys looked at *Jamie Chua* ( *@ec24m* ) @7:13 , there was an obvious implication that she bought followers. using the math, her engagement rate is *1%* (roughly 6,000 likes for most of her 2018 posts, w/ nearly 600,000 followers). just like DeeKosh said @8:11 , if you have so many followers but so few likes, it's a sign of fake followers. *TL;DR* it's nearly impossible in today's world to post something online & not have at least 2% of your followers engage w/ the posting. that is, unless all your followers are fake ... or everyone just hates you :P

Interesting video. 👍🏼 Just wondering what if those influencers get mentioned from another well known influencer? Wouldn't that help spike up their followers too rather than buying? Cause I've seen some influencers who shares out their other friends (influencer friends) images / tags on their post or stories. I'll admit I have clicked to check those profiles out and since I'm on the go, I sometimes follow them without checking out their whole profile. When I am free to check (after already following), and when it's not something that I like to follow, I'll unfollow after. That's normal right? Or am I the only one who does that? I've actually also seen some influencers create chains to follow to "win a prize" . And that too, I will unfollow after a while when their posts are not something I'm interested in.
