I mean, if you’re interacting with your boss, or authority figures, or just in a situation where you can inwardly tell you should be being serious, do that. HOWEVER, for the rest of this life, just try and relax. Use gestures and speech to your advantage (rubbing the back of your neck, snapping to emphasize a point, boisterous laughter). Idk I’m not sure this is good advice, but my main point would be to relax, understand when the stakes are low, don’t be afraid to admit your awkwardness, and remember that there’s really no such thing as “failure” in social interaction.

It's ok. Now you know where you are at and see more clearly where you have been. It's hurts, a lot; it's ugly to see us in such a vulnerable and flawed light, but is important. It's important because only the we can build a better view of who we are and start to accept the fact they we are flawed, since we are human, and recognize it and start to work towards a healthy solution, since we are children of God, or have honest potential to become better humans; whichever you chose to believe. It's hard, but it's worth it; and being moved by a reflection of yourself in a different life, a different light, is just the first step towards recognition and change. And I believe we can change to be good, and then great. So yeah, have a nice day and life fellow human.

Between the ages of 17 and 19, I always carried 10 dollars with me for emergencies. It was the same 10 dollars, that I never spent, and I never owned anything more than that. I thought it was a lot of money at that time. These 10 "dollars" made me feel so safe (I'm not american, I just converted the amount to dollars). Until I got into my first relationship, and got a 10 dollar bracelet for the guy for his birthday. He didn't get me anything for my birthday, and didn't even call me that day. IT was the most painful day of my life (until then). I spent that 19th birthday by the river, alone, in agonising inner pain. This is the first time, I tell this story. I healed from it, let it go, and moved on. Lesson learned, don't ever put your value into a guy's hand.
@BoasillРік тому
Lesson 2: Keep like, I dunno, 20 dollars in your pocket so you have another if you spend one on a bracelet or something
@rv706Рік тому
The lesson is too narrow! The actual lesson should be: don't ever put your value into a person's hand. A person, not necessarily a male.
