I have hope that things have no choice but to reverse. I'm hanging in til this waste of energy draining everyone has to stop because it's unsustainable. Even if that means we find out what it's like to go hungry. I think that will be the only way to reverse the entitlement! Parents that still have children that look up to you, better prepare them for hard times!!! My son loves me for challenging him because I am always there in the background to shield, support, praise etc. He's 12 and many people say they can't get their 18+ to do the same. Here's the kicker.... His dad believes he should be playing video games all day and thinks that he has a horrible life (it's a fight that just devastates me). Yet 99.9% of the time that he gets asked if he wants to stay, ride, work, etc with me or his dad he says me. They are actually unhappy not having a sense of accomplishment!! What I have had to start worrying about is keeping my own bar up. At 12 yrs it's still not time for him to run circles around me, but it's a challenge some days. I hide just how much I worry I am no longer able to help him learn to improve because he has nothing left to learn from me but I believe his dad is catching on to take over😊 God bless everyone with their children it can't be done without God in their life!
