Supposedly a vaccine won't be available until summer 2021. IF that's successful, death rates go down, and businesses can open... then we're going to be dealing with the economic fallout of long-term unemployment, small business failure, evictions, etc. It's going to take a few years to economically recover from the pandemic. 2020 is just the start.

@Cammdc 1 Hmmm. Not having lived through Regan myself, I would have to say that it's hard to do a direct comparison that way. Regan was hard into the religious conservatism, he truly believed that the people being hurt were being hurt due to God's will. He was evil and a monster, but not maliciously so. At least not by intent. So, on pure vile, evilness, I think he probably beats Trump (but, again, not outright malevolent evilness). He also wasn't an total moron, at least not in the way Trump is. On to Trump, though, he's is outright maliciously and malevolently evil. He also wishes for an authoritarianism that we haven't seen in a very long time (openly anyway, it's hard to say what the end goal for some of them was). The biggest saving grace of things so far has been his and his administration's general incompetency. They'd be further along if not for their own stupidity. So they win massive points on that front. In a head to head? It's just hard to say, for all their similarities, they're very different.

We hope it IS eradicated! The current concern is the thawing of the permafrost... and the old graves that have remained frozen in it for centuries. When indigenous people in the Arctic died of smallpox their bodies immediately froze rather than begin decomposing. As the permafrost thaws and heaves, the bodies in the old graves also thaw. Those with smallpox (Variola major) may still contain live bacteria that is will be released into the environment. WHO and the CDC don't like to talk about it, but the problem remains: Will the smallpox virus survive freezing and thawing?

Why didn't Hunter come back for the laptops that supposedly had such incriminating evidence on it? 3. Why did they wait a year to say anything, and only reveal it right before the election? 4. Why not just pull some fingerprints or DNA to prove it belonged to Hunter? 5. why are all the tech nerds, even the Trump supporting ones, saying this is bullshit? and 6. Is Hunter Biden Joe Biden?
