My close guy friends tend to think I’m cold and heartless because I used to directly reject guys (back when I was single) when I wasn’t interested in them. Till now (I’m attached) I don’t know how to explain to them that I’m not invalidating guys treating them like as if they don’t have feelings, but I just don’t want to waste my time and energy. I’m an introvert and my social energy drains very fast because I work in service line, so I usually prefer things to be straightforward from the start. Also, I’m old (25 this year) and I hate it when guys older than me treat me like a bimbo when I’m just asking them about their work/hobby because I’ve never tried/done it before. Sometimes I feel abit sad when my own close guy friends say I’m heartless, and they just can’t understand it from my pov.

I definitely have a list and like what dan said - it goes by vibes. Could be because of a one-time sus thing that happened like the other person was too touchy or too friendly? Maybe because your partner was over-friendly without knowing and crossed a certain boundary? Not that I don't trust my partner but more of I don't trust the other person. I also feel that people that go on this "list" cannot be people that your partner met before your relationship started haha that's a little unfair. Personally, I always set/keep boundaries with close platonic guy friends so I sorta naturally expect the same of my partner.

The list exist out of insecurity, so instead of addressing the list, address the insecurity. I make my partner feel like he is the only one until his answer to “do you think i’d leave you for another person” is a split second “no”. Then no list :)

In regards to the hold hand thing during the fight around 18:00. I was just wondering if the gesture of holding hand has a signal of stopping the the other person’s behavior. I understand that their argument is getting irrational and that it may be a cause of medication. However, I was just wondering if the person who has been held are forced to cut off from their emotion which she/he is feeling (just because the other party is uncomfortable with the feelings), yet emotion is something which is very hard to tame (unless you have trained it). Would the wife say something like “sorry, I’m just very piss at the moment, can’t calm down” help John feel less hurtful and less betrayed? Maybe after the hand holding signal, the wife can continue to feel how she is feeling, by calming down alittle, and John allow her to quietly sit there for some alone time. Instead of hoping for an immediate positive feedback from his wife after his effort is given.

Doing things without being asked to. A lot of times women gets upset when a men doesn’t do something but men would justify as a communication problem: If women has told or asked men to do, he would’ve done it. However I guess in general, women feel that the actions doesn’t feel as genuine if women has to ask as compared to men doing it in the first place, without being asked. Most basic example: Women want flowers but doesn’t want it if she have to ask for it.

I used to hate when my friends said 'thank you' to me after I did something for them (which imo it's no big deal). Because I always tell them that I'm your friend la, no need to so paiseh and say thank you esp in a really sincere way. But over time, I just think this is how humans work because it will make them feel less burdened or they don't owe me that much after they verbally thank me for my action. Which is fair.

Men are simple minded beings. We just want peace & quiet when we are spending time with our mates doing what we like (etc gaming, hobbies or etc). Especially after a long day of work, just let us game or go out for a ride over the weekend please! But on the flip side, we hate cold treatment the most. For me I don't get guys who don't give up even though they know they have zero chance with a girl. Basically I have this "friend" who has been consistently messaging me flirty messages for 2 years plus now even though he knows I have a fiance. At first i entertained him to be polite..then it got so irritaring that i politely told him off and now I just don't reply to any of his messages.
