8:00 the tank analogy is not entirely correct because the angles first job is to increase the chance of a ricochet but the more important thing is that when you angle the armor by 45 degrees the projectile has about .25 more than the original thickness which your projectile has to go through (The math is not perfect and change in thickness varies by angle but usually sloped armour is angled at 45 degrees) But the idea is interesting although I do not know if that would be very effective in this situation.

Would be better off with a sword that turns whatever it touches to plasma. A self cooling superconductor that zaps whatever you hit into hot goo. Lightsabers are more fantasy than science fiction though.

@@Gesso64 agreed but the thing that differs the most between a real Lightsaber that the one they have created it the beam of plasma is a physical object, meaning that when it collides out other objects it hits it. If you were to hit two of those lightsabers together they will just fly through each other.

The fact that the rebar was red hot, mad it even less likely to penetrate. Per the laws of thermodynamics, the heat wouldn't be able to transfer quickly enough to do any real damage, and the rebar would be softer, giving it less penetrating power.

Most secure (with easily obtainable materials) would probably be just to put the Money inside a giant sphere of heavily reinforced concrete

@@williamlastname only because concrete by itself is brittle, hence heavy steel reinforcement. Also I mean high quality concrete not the half air breeze blocks they use for fun. Ofcourse both can be melted through, but concrete requires a higher temperature and can easily be made into far greater thickness than steel, it would take ages to get through.
