EDIT: before I talk about neopets, I just wanna say my fave part of this video was the one with Bimbim playing and there's this kind of jungle music in the background. It's adorable, I love cats so much. When I was a kid I loved Neopets so much that I wanted to make a Neopets clone with my best friend at the time. I drew random pets, made lore, a language that isn't really creative because I just inverted the letters. I look back at that fondly. I bought like 4 of those big Cattleya notebooks, most of which are filled. Idk where they are though. Sometimes I want to look back at them and remember the creativity and fun I had with creating. When I got bored with Neopets, I switched to conceptualizing a Facebook game, also with cute pets. Now I'm pursuing a game dev career. Yay? lol

life hack for playing with cats: when you’re throwing something for them to chase, don’t throw it AT them, throw it PAST them. if you throw it right into their hands, they have nothing to chase. let it whiz right past them, over their heads, whatever, so they can chase it. also, say you have a toy mouse or a paper ball or something. hold it in the palm of your hand and rattle it around in front of them to get the excited. one of my cats favorite things is when i throw one of their toys down the stairs. they’ll sit at the top, i’ll shake it around in my palm, and throw it down. i know this all sound SUPER redundant, but trust me, anyone whos taken care of cats before knows exactly what i’m talking about.
