There is this plant called the snake plant, and it thrives off of neglect. Just water it every month and it would be perfect. You can even just keep it in a corner of your room. It also creates oxygen more than other plant whether it's night or day. They help with allergies as well so it's the perfect plant for beginners.

7:18 - Try a peace lily. The most common reason for people killing plants is that they either over or underwater the plant. And if you are ever told "water it every X days" then that person isn't any use to you. Here's the pro tip: Every house is a different humidity level and this means that every house needs a unique watering schedule (this will increase in frequency in the winter due to the way we heat our buildings, which dries the air). The reason I'm pointing to a peace lily is that it's the perfect plant to train the owner. If you put it in a not-too-bright spot in the house (they don't need a window at all!) and let it sit, unwatered, until it starts to wilt, you know you missed watering it by ONE DAY. Repeat the process about three times - only watering when it starts to droop. This will give you the data you need to figure out how often you should or should not! be watering it. Another important fact: Make sure the water has a place to go. If there is no exit to the pot you're using, that might end up sitting the plant in too much water. There are ways around this - unfinished clay pots allow moisture to wick out into the ambient air - but always best to have a drainhole in the pot and a tray underneath - don't let water sit in the tray for longer than 4 hours. Peace lilys are OBVIOUS when they wilt, and the wilting "decision" is nearly instant - one day fine, next day a bit soft, the next day "splah!". They're also very resilient and will prop back up quite fast once you attend to their moping. They can take being used a training vessel. Give it a try - or two - and see how it goes. PS: Use a watering can or cup that is about 1/4 the size of the pot - give or take.

I normally don’t comment on these things…but as a greenhouse worker and studying to become a botanist your cry for help could not go unnoticed. Honestly, like all things worth doing in this world Kris gardening is a “practice makes perfect” type of thing. When I first started I too thought I had a black thumb and not a green one; now I have people say I have a “gift” a “way with plants” when really it’s been just doing a ton of research on whatever plant I get or am planting etc. Plants are like people in that some will thrive in certain conditions where others will not and it’s all about being willing to invest yourself in them to see them truly do well. That being said; thank you for investing yourself in making others laugh and feel good about themselves this world would be a much darker place without your light in it.

1:23 yep lasers burn camera sensors really quickly, you need a decently powerful laser but these days even cheap ones can be dangerously powerful. to put it in perspective a 500mw laser or higher is enough to permanently blind you in an instant and some cheap laser pointers are 750mw and I've seen higher hand held lasers.
