@@Ferotiq Unfortunately Mercedes Benz is joining the bandwagon and trying to make software a service, with customers paying for upgrades. That may be fine if you can buy an older car and get an upgrade, but two years after I bought a new car, they downgraded the functions in Mercedes Me (e.g. remote unlock, remote fuel level check etc.) unless I pay a subscription. Even worse for the core dashboard, where upgrading the maps etc. costs serious money. Software should not become a revenue stream on an already expensive car.

Automatic Parking is crazy also automatic in the parkhouses who can Support automatic parking. The driving assist systems are the best on the road. The infotainment System and the Layout is also something else. Don‘t get me wrong: i do understand that you see a small difference between the eqc and the id.3 but in reallife it‘s a huge difference.

But if personal data like the IR-Sensor has to go through a Server, then I am very concerned about privacy. I know Tesla's car's are like that, that your personal roadtrip is going to be saved in a server, just to improve the AI Algorithm inside the car. That is simply not acceptable!
