I may sound like a stereotypical american saying this, but I didn't know you guys existed until this episode, and now I am horrified at what the asshole in charge has done to you after learning how close and important a relationship we have. Please understand that our president does not speak or act on our behalf. I know that's a reductive argument since so many people voted for him, but remember that the majority did not, he just won because of stupid rules that need to be shredded. We're trying to get these things fixed because we know they're flawed, but it's not easy because the ones in charge of changing that don't want to change it (that is SEVERAL whole other problems) I wish common people like me could do more to help, but the most we can do is try to vote for people who can change it all. But until that change comes, the best thing we can do is stay informed, and I am glad I now am about your plight, and how we have affected it. I am so sorry. I hate how this is being treated as just another stupid Trump move. This is the first Trump move that *immediately* resulted in murders and death, and will only end in more. The violent death of a people who already died so many violent deaths helping us. Even the coronavirus. People in the comments saying its worse...I'm sorry, but Trump did not create it. dont listen to anybody who says we're working on our democracy, because in truth, the US was never a democracy, just had the outward appearance of one. we used to refer to is in school as a 'constitutional democracy' rather than what a democracy really is, a 'direct democracy'. What Bush Jr did was sane. Iraq's population didn't drop and the only refugee crisis was the Iranians going into Iraq. Meanwhile Obama's attempt to take out Assad had created ISIS, a refugee crisis and a lower population. Europe tried a quick stunt with eliminating the dictator of Libya and again, there are rebels (this time with jet fighters and artillery supplied by Middle Western countries) against the UN backed government, a refugee crisis and a lower population i that country.
