Always amazes me how some companies will tell you that something can’t be done and either you have to live with it or try to talk you into a different solution that’s not really the right way to solve the issue. Ran into this many times over the years with my own business where customers were told by other companies that what they wanted couldn’t be done. Fortunately the customer didn’t accept that company’s explanation and found me that could do what they wanted and had a happy customer. Never accept the first comment someone gives you if it’s not what you want. Do some calling around and do your research and many times you may find someone that can do what you want. If in the worst case we couldn’t correct something we undertook like “we don’t know how to get the glass out of there,” we would sooner refer the customer to a competitor and pay for it, than tell them they’ll just have to deal with it.

And people will actually wait because you show them the same detail you would take on your own car. I never had a blood and sweat kinda job like my dad or my grandpa, I’m an RN, but I still put all of me into it and treat people as if they were my wife or best friend no matter what they’re in the hospital for. As a somewhat mechanic my self i realy like you n most of your videos. I apreciate them and the pride u seem to take in the quality of your work. I cant sey the same for other mechanic channels. Or other mechanics in general. You seem pretty exsperianced and smart.

"ehh this job is annoying and takes long. Just tell him we can't get the glass out" Glad there are at least some quality services out there still

This is incredibly common among all vehicles and a noisy lift gate/ hatch is usually a sign of some form of damage and indicates the quality of repair.

Great work sir!!! Integrity and competence. You are the type of mechanic to hang on to!

Going that extra mile for a customer is the sign of a great mechanic. Help good mechanics by giving them recommendations! 👍🏾😎💯

I appreciate your honesty that's so many mechanics that are lazy, dishonest and have zero will-power. It really is unacceptable. You truly are thorough and your customers are lucky to have you

Nice to see good honest mechanics still around...

I bet every single person who comes into your shop ends up being a loyal customer. Amazing standards.

Don’t sign the paperwork if someone says “we can’t do that.” Call insurance and report the misdeeds by the repair shop. They’ll have to eat a lot of the incurred costs. The insurance will pass the bill to them.
@robertthegrowguy71152 роки тому
Alot of the time there's no paperwork to sign, I've had windows replaced n didn't sign anything they are paid by the claim number not your signature
@dannytonnessen68962 роки тому
@@robertthegrowguy7115 MOST places you HAVE to sign to ok the work and ACCEPT it as completed! Sounds like you live somewhere that’s too lax. Maybe you should really ask your insurance company about how you can refuse subpar quality work. So you know ,just in case,. It’s always good to know these things BEFORE they bite you on the ass, 😝 because they ALWAYS do on the end. Haha 😆
@robertthegrowguy71152 роки тому
@@dannytonnessen6896 well most people where I live have glass coverage in their insurance policy so again it's just a claim # no signature has nothing to do with relaxed or don't care it's we live in a age where everything is computers essentially you swiping you debit or credit card is your signature
@robertthegrowguy71152 роки тому
@@dannytonnessen6896 also that's the insurance companies problem if the works not completed properly it's just another claim # so it's the insurance company who is to blame we are only allowed to bring the car to a place they say is reputable so if a problem like this occurs it's that facilities reputation on the line either way it will get fixed correctly one way or the other n that also costs your insurance more money cause now they have to authorize a rental again to use while my cars at the shop again so again it eventually gets fixed right but that's why you get full coverage even if it's a 20 year old car
@robertthegrowguy71152 роки тому
@@dannytonnessen6896 I can tell you this was probably a mobile glass installer that left this car in that condition I doubt a actual brick n mortar facility did this, in that fashion

The words of grand master flash - broken glass everywhere. Has to be the most funnest quote of 2022 in context of a video. Hilarious 😂
