The majority of people that police deal with are complete morons. It's like they're a different breed of people. You'll be sitting in the station or be outside of the courtroom, and you'll hear people casually talking about what really happened at top of voice, as if everyone else there is deaf. Last time I got in trouble and had to go to court, I actually thought I was in the wrong part for a moment when waiting in a certain area. I was the only person presentable. I wasn't just the only guy in a suit, I was also the only guy that looked like he knew what personal hygiene is, and knew not to talk about why I'm there and what happened to the other strangers in room. The only thing missing for these people, was tea and biscuits for their conversations. And they actually probably wondered why they got sent down. I know not everyone has a suit, but clean clothes and a wash is something you'd think everyone would take into consideration when their freedom is at stake, aswell as not take about the case to random strangers, but clearly not everyone thinks like that.

Not true at all. Theres plenty of innocent people who lose their lives because a jury convicts then with little to no evidence. It's really the roll of a dice with our justice system. And you should never talk to police. It can never help and it's a terrible idea. Even in the case shown in this video the little bit of talking couldve screwed him. he made the mistake of saying "I didn't get in a fight with nobody". Had he of gotten into ANY disputes at all around the club, even if it was raising his voice at a sound guy or something and it came to light in a courtroom, prosecutors could use that to make him seem dishonest about his statement, and that alone could plant a seed of doubt in a jury. Most people want to say "I'd never do...(scenerio)." Then they'll dig up any evidence to contradict you and make you seem unreliable and shady. They really do mean "anything you say can and will be used against you". Even if it's usage is unethical or questionable..

EVERY Citizen was supposed to know how this system works, or should work, since childhood. That's what a Citizen means vs. a subject. We're SUPPOSED to be able to represent ourselves, not being at the mercy of our own public service employees (though today that's a bad idea for some reasons). Otherwise, we can't say we're say we're practicing SELF-govt. Maybe it's time we started to correct this error, by studying the Constitution, our other founding docs, and our rights. You kind of answered your own question it’s to get to the point where they can find a motive and figure out why they did what they did. Even if they know they’re guilty having a motive can be the difference between 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree murder or even manslaughter.

Despite facing serious allegations, the suspect, in this case, showcased a remarkable understanding of his rights and how to navigate through a tense situation. His refusal to speak without legal representation and his adept handling of the detectives' questions highlighted the importance of knowing one's rights and how to exercise them effectively.
