Sometimes badges come with a wrong sense of pride, and that can lead to dire consequences. Corrupt cops face a harsh reality: their careers are over. They feel the weight of their wrongdoing, knowing they've not just let down their badge but also ruined their future.
No more sirens, no more power-just regret and the certainty of punishment. Well, here are seven cases when corrupt cops realized they had ended their careers.

The pregnant woman who didn't stop right away. I'm from California. In the early 80s there was a cop who pulled over a woman in a dark stretch of highway and ended up dragging her into the bushes and killing her. There were other cars along that highway but due to it being so dark no one saw a thing. After that happened it was said by police that if an officer puts his lights and sirens on you, you are allowed to wait to pull over until you are in a well lit area for your own protection without getting in trouble for that. That should be a law everywhere.

It is absolutely not ok for you to just keep driving. You have to at minimum pull o er and say, “I don’t feel comfortable here please call another officer and take me to a more public or well lit area” but you cannot just keep going. There is no law that says that. At that point you are evading, obstructing, and resisting; but please go ahead and let me know how it works for you.

Yeah because NOBODY ignores the police- nobody ever acts and pretends shit with police- and nobody ever pretends to be disabled or have medical issues to try get police to drop their guard at all... and obviously EVERY deaf person is COMPLETELY without ANY ability to hear.. 🙄 lol. (you can be even legally declared as deaf OR blind, but still hear or see- its just very limited. there are tons out there though, who still have some degree of those senses left even though they have legal documentation stating their disability).. and we all know that EVERYONE knows how to communicate with ASL. That's kindergarten shit! Lol.. 🙄 I do feel bad for the deaf guy, but it's a ridiculously difficult scenario to navigate and to deal with. Especially when it's split second decisions where lives and safety are on the line.. I didn't see anyone acting brutally or with ill-will. And just because someone claims to be deaf (or actually is), doesn't mean they're not dangerous- deaf people do commit crimes too (and violent crimes)..
@mike41062
@mike41062 Місяць тому
Also manyyy deaf people have no problem reading lips, and can fairly easily get a general idea of what a person is saying.. Not every word or all the time- but generally it's something they learn to do because most people don't know ASL, so that's just how they have to learn how to communicate...
@kayia_Zzzz
@kayia_Zzzz Місяць тому
@@mike41062 i think youre underestimating how hard it is to read lips while people are yelling and talking at the same time, don't try to minimize this situation
@mike41062
@mike41062 Місяць тому
@@kayia_Zzzz lol, so it's difficult reading lips for someone who does it all the time, but it's NOT extremely difficult for the officers dealing with someone who they (seemingly) can't communicate with (an EXTREMELY RARE occurrence that most officers likely never encounter)? Lol... think logically about EVERYTHING. I don't doubt it's more difficult to read lips when you're stunned by seemingly randomly getting dropped by a taser- his mind was likely racing. Not doubting that- but it's a ridiculously challenging scenario. You can't trust people right away when they're encountering the police- people lie and act all the time to get cops to drop their guard... "i can't breathe, you're hurting me, i have a bad leg, can you adjust my cuffs, I didn't hear your siren, I didn't see your lights, I was finding a good spot to pull over, etc" those are all commonly used as a way to burn time to ditch/hide illegal stuff, or to get a second to pull a weapon, or get a second to run away.. He coulda had perfect hearing and just been acting- everyone can do "deaf-person speech", he coulda been wanted and might be willing to do anything to get away (including murder)- even if he was deaf he still coulda been a threat... so they're all supposed to know ASL, and also assume everyone who ignores them is fully deaf, and then they're supposed to run in front of the person (hope they don't pull a weapon) and start signing to the person? Nah, sorry it's not ever gonna happen. How about you try to think rationally about the situation? I'm not minimizing but being realistic about the threats, variables, unknowns, and the challenges BOTH faced. People are absurd acting like the cops did everything wrong or easily coulda done things differently and so much better- if you think there was a way for them to do that- I'd love to hear the ridiculous theory on what they shoulda done instead. Like I had said, I feel bad for the deaf guy- but it's a ridiculously challenging situation.

i will never forget, when i was 13 riding my bike suddenly got tackled from behind punched about 6 times in the back. then cuffed and slammed face first onto a car hood breaking my nose. i was a 5 ft tall white kid about 100lbs. apparently i fit the description of a 6'4" black male. my mom called the p.d freaking out. a cop came to the house and pretty much said drop it or else. i will never forget that!!!

I got in an accident once and it was like 1:30 in the morning and I had bald tires and it was pouring down rain and I was on a brick road and I hydroplaned off the road jump the curb and hit someone’s garage. That was attached to their house and thank God the garage was nice and sturdy, because there was a vintage jag inside it that did not get hurt or my company would’ve been livid! I asked for a breathalyzer because of the late hour I didn’t want somebody to go back later and say maybe she was intoxicated so I asked him please me or give me variety test so I can show later on that is just an accident and they didn’t end up doing it, but they said I had been drinking and that was in the report. My point is, if you’re doing nothing wrong, you would take the test. I’m disabled because I’ve had four major spine surgeries, hip surgery and heart surgery so I can’t stand on one leg for long and I have a significant limp and my balance is not good and I have taken sobriety test and they have never arrested me, so they’re not just out to get people and they’re gonna arrest you for any stumble that’s not all they’re looking for. They’re looking to make sure you can follow simple 2 to 3 step instruction. “Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.”

4:03 In the cops defense in this one, every single person that ever gets arrested says, “I can’t breathe” and they always can. This man was clearly high out of his mind, he called 911 cause he needed oxygen and then he refused all help from the paramedics and police. This man was not right. It appears he is in meth psychosis and they are highly dangerous individuals. The person doesn’t always have to be acting violent to be tased, but he clearly wasn’t compliant in any way and there was no way the police could leave this man out in the public. He would’ve hurt someone. It’s always very easy for us to look at things with hindsight. This man was asked numerous times to do something and he just kept puffing up his chest and walking around in circles. They don’t have all day to watch him go through his psychotic episode. They need to get him down, into the ambulance, and probably to the psych ward. They actually are able to use force to get someone to treatment that may be a danger to themselves or others and I believe if this man was willing to roam free, he would’ve been. Let’s put this another way. Let’s see your child was riding his bike down that street and that man ran up to him and was acting in that manner. Would you have said “Oh excuse me, sir please don’t do that” or would you have knocked him out? Also, the police are trained and the paramedics were there, and it is a known medical fact that if you can talk, yell scream which this man was doing a whole lot of talking then you can breathe. He’s just saying all this to try to get out of it.

14:30 did you get the wrong clip or something? This officer commanded her to pull over three times and she didn't. It doesn't matter the reason, it doesn't matter if she has kids watching. He doesn't know that in the moment, nor does he assume you're going to act rationally just because your kids are there. Police are trained to treat someone refusing to stop as especially suspicious. You summarize it at the start as a "normal traffic stop, and suddenly-" but it just wasn't that at all. None of this "I didn't feel safe" stuff, it's a cop, you should have zero reason to feel in danger if you didn't do anything wrong. You not stopping for sirens, and even a verbal command is a crime, end of story. Though, honestly, he was on the rude side - but then he even explains it. You pull over right there, 5, 10 minutes tops, and it's a coin toss if you even get a ticket. But then you refuse to pull over, now he's probably gonna be there for up to an hour, trying to process paperwork and explain what the heck is going on to a sergeant. And then on top of that you committed a felony, and because there's children involved, he's got to contact CPS. Unprofessional to vocalize that, yes, but it's not out of nowhere.

The cop with a pregnant woman really was too impatient but I don't know what she expected. Even if you're scared and don't want to pull over in the dark it's still illegal to keep going and if you are going to keep going because you're scared you need to call 911 and call them and tell them why and they will tell the officer

11:51 In this case the man is not being compliant. The cop may have used too much force but the man should’ve identified himself. It appears his drinking in a park after hours and when an officer is investigating a crime, you must identify yourself. Even after being told numerous times to get into the ground, the man refused. You just don’t know what he was doing. He could’ve been prowling for a victim and he has 3 women tied up in his basement. The cop shouldn’t have been punching him but the other force I see as acceptable for someone who will not comply. The problem is that people think they have rights that they do not have now if the police officer tells you you need to identify yourself then you need to identify yourself. The reason for this is not your business. He was investigating a crime now if three women had been raped that night they would have a report of the man that they found just sitting in the park after hours, watching a movie who sits in their car watches a movie in the park, drinking in the middle of the night. It’s super weird. I think people almost don’t listen to the cops on purpose and want this shit to happen and then they can sue, never been beat up by the cops. I have been arrested, and I absolutely, do what they ask and use yes or no sir and show respect to authority and when I’m doing something wrong I take responsibility for it and most of the time they say OK here’s a warning be on your way. I agree the cop may use a little bit too much force when he was punching him, but that man was in the wrong.

How awful it must be that they tased that man who was deaf. I’m sorry but they don’t talk right so when someone is yelling “I’m deaf” at you in that deaf tone they use which is very clearly noticeable (and I’m not being rude but it’s clear when they are deaf). 27:10 This woman should be ashamed of herself first of all it’s a big no-no in every state that I know of for an officer to be drinking off duty and have their duty weapon on them on top of that she’s lying when she knows that this cop knows he smells booze. She’s a cop. She knows better people who make an enforce laws should be held to a higher standard, because they know the laws much better than the rest of us. I’m pretty sure as a cop, to keep her job, she cannot refuse FSTs or chemical tests. If she doesn’t do them, she won’t have a job. Cops are just people just like the rest of us and they make mistakes and I’m not saying that when I say Shushu, but I’ll do a higher standard I’m not saying that she shouldn’t have been out there drinking but she should be able to be honest and say I made a mistake. Let’s do the field sobriety test and see what it says, and really just throw herself on the sword a lot further that way at least to her superiors she would look like an honest person who made a mistake.
